Hi Ray. I am from Trinidad, and I've therefore got rhythm in my soul! Just like you, I was prancing around as our Angel took me to CHURCH!!! I cannot for the life of me understand how all those people could just sit there! I honestly felt like yelling at them to get their lazy, rhythmless selves off their chairs and shake their bodies to the soul-shaking rhythm our Angel was pumping out! With perfect timing, perfect phrasing and spot-on pitch (even in the acapella part), she effortlessly sounded like she's been singing gospel every day of her life! Fantastic reaction.

This video is particularly amazing when you think that AJ, who is Norwegian and eleven years old here, sings gospel music in the open air in her country as if she were in some church in the United States and with the energy and enthusiasm of a seasoned soloist. Wonderful!

Angelina should just for put out a cover for ‘Take Me To Church’ :-) Close your eyes and you could be fooled into believing being in an Alabama church on Sunday. It is indeed so soulful, swinging, energetic and everything else that is beautiful and good! This little girl on stage with a full choir and band and still utterly relaxed and owning the place…. I am afraid this performance, although loved by the audience, is a bit lost on Norwegians - they are very reserved. And, most cannot follow the beat with their hands! It's OK, because I found them to be charming, intelligent and sensitive folks. You can't have everything! Note that this is the only song I have Angelina sing where she is smiling most of the time.
