I still find youTubers who have ignored Reacting to Elvis because they just can’t fathom someone who achieved fame in the 1950s could be so cool and sing so well. Some who have watched a few of his videos, have stated that Elvis could even be popular if he was young and performing today. I feel like saying yes he is still the king.

The Fonzy character on Happy Days was indeed inspired by Elvis. The show didn't air on TV until mid 1970s, several years after the 68 Comeback Special. Fonzy was also an Elvis fan on the show.

Elvis was so nervous here. He hadn’t performed to a live audience since 1958 when he went off to Germany in the US Army for 2 years, returning to only make films as the highest paid actor in Hollywood. His nerves disappeared as he performed and relaxed , knowing he was pleasing the audience, playing with all his old friends on the stage. 💕👌🕺

And to think the carnival barker wanted Elvis to do an entire Christmas show, Elvis stood up to parker (little P), can you imagine how different this show would have been if Elvis did a Christmas show instead of this show. Elvis is simply the greatest entertainer of all times.

THE, definition of "cool" is what Elvis perpetuates. The HOLIEST hands have made him and for over 4 decades he lived amongst us. But, his remembrance is ongoing into the next generations to come. Now how "COOLER" is that? It's unanswerable... REST IN ✌🏽 ELVIS... YOU CHANGED THE WORLD‼️

Hot hot hot 🔥🔥🔥🔥🤣 Ray you need to watch Reinventing Elvis. Steve Binder who was the creater of this show is still with us 💙 Can you believe Steve Binder gave Tom Parker the tickets to sell for this Comeback Special and the day before Steve realised no tickets had been sold. They hunted the streets down and all those people in the audience witnessed this for free. Tom Parker must of been so threatened by Steve. If only Elvis had decided then to take a different root and ditch Tom Parker, things may have been different 🥲 Feel robbed and cheated that Elvis left us so soon 💔

Now is a good time to remind you that you need to check out the interview Baz Luhrmann did with one of Elvis childhood friends, Mr. Sam Bell, in prep for his 2022 Elvis biopic. Elvis was 1 of 4 white families living in Sam’s Tupelo Miss neighborhood. You get to learn a little about how his parents and Elvis lived and acted. Elvis moved to Memphis when he was 13 and a half yrs old and Sam and the old gang lost track of him, until he became famous. As Sam said, they all said, “It’s really him”! The 1st year of Elvis huge instant fame, 1956, reporters were really stressing Elvis humble beginnings. They say Elvis was shy, but you wouldn’t know it given how he commanded the stage on Ed Sullivan despite all the controversy back then about his sexuality, given his moves and performance style.

Oh, I watched a documentary on the Elvis Presley tv channel a few months ago. Steve Binder said the Colonel messed up the tickets for the audience, I think deliberately. The production crew rushed out to the street, fast food restaurants, other places to get very lucky women to come fill in the audience for the '68 Comeback Special for the in the round scenes. He also mentioned that there was only 1 black leather suit for Elvis. Elvis had an O while wearing the suit and they only had a hair dryer to quickly get ready for another take. Lol The designer of that black leather suit went on to design Elvis's white jumpsuits.
