Yes, I believe you could. I have not used this instrument in a while, but from what I recall, you can pick different patterns: picked, strummed and so forth.

It's been a while since I played with this instrument. I believe you have to select the Melody presets on the Kontakt window, if my memory serves me correctly. I might be mistaken, so I'd have to go back and see how to do it again.
