My dad had an electric heart so at night there is an alarm that goes off if the power is out or a malfunction, he has 20 minutes before death. Because he was deaf an engineer created a vibrating pillow for his alarm which was so cool and helpful. I love innovation like this!

What if they make an eyeglass that connects to an earpiece. The Eyeglass is a camera and it will tell the person about his/her sorroundings through the earpiece. But it only works for the blinds not for the Blinds with hearing problems. Like an A.I that gives you directions.

Insurance companies should be investing in this,but on that note no not for 4k I would like to know who came up with this idea they need to work on it some more and make it cheaper maybe charge 600 bucks even 800 bucks.Also if they could put a voice activation as well as vibration to it it would be more suitable for the blind to be using.

suddenly this makes me think of those self driving cars. they have the technology to detect obstacles. the data that they use to train their AI to identify objects is from us internet users who solve recapcha and help them match object names to pics thus provide them with free valuable data. they can totally use the same technology to develop more meaningful and life changing products to help blind people
