Mr Nice and Easy himself. Nobody makes the trombone growl like Vic. I'm so happy to see all these Vic recordings show up on KZbin. He was a good friend of my parents and I treasure all the memories of the man and his music.

I found out about Vic when I was in high school in the 70's. He played with some many people. He had a great sound, rough and smooth together.

This is a rare [and should be valuable] recording of the marvelous Vic Dickenson! There are some musical creations [by him] in there that won't be found elsewhere IMO.

Great technique. How could 2 people dislike? Maybe post-bop fans. They seem to hate great old school playing.

Trying to find the best "growl" to inspire someone else. I met him in 1968. Great!
