That area is all old logging coupes, as to why most of the tracks around Walkers and Dunstans etc are like roads. They stop the logging and now it’s just gunna burn everything few years. 🤦🏽 That hole in the track on Shady Creek Lower swallowed a few of us up there last year, no way around it at all! It’s a good back up camp Paddy Joy, never anyone there when I’ve been past ! Nice drive Jas.

Thanks for the history mate! You're not wrong sometimes those holes just pop up when you think everything is going well. Was handy Luca waited to point it out for me. Couldn't agree more, Wheelers hut camp ground was packed, standing room only, yet just 1km down the road Paddy Joy was empty with some spare firewood.... Of course now we've told everyone.... :-)

@@GetRazzedit’s closed both ends of the Pinnibar Trk. You can access Mt Pinnibar via Upper Shady Creek Track.

A few of those tracks have a 'D' for difficult on the Hema Maps. You didn't seem to have much trouble even with a trailer.

Yeah the hema map track ratings are in my opinion a 'guide only'. Most haven't been updated for a long time. I wouldn't consider any of those tracks we drove as actually difficult. But yes the 76 did a great job. They're probably mostly more 'medium' tracks really.
