It's kinda sad and annoying how none of ya'll understand what major childhood PTSD trauma looks like, I do, and believe it or not it gives you an extreme hightend sense of child protection, which is a concept that seems to fall on deaf ears for most of you. 😑 You also become what appears as a burnout or mentally ill person. Extreme childhood trauma shocks your brain so hard that it essentially gives you a stroke, your brain still functions fine but communicating with others becomes an extreme difficulty and suddenly everyone thinks your mentally ill. Most people think I'm creepy for it too. All of your programming from the media has caused you all to hate kids if anything, rather then have the instincts to protect them. They are the continuation of the human race you damaged uncognitive fools. If the children die, we die. The sheep bother me ever more.

@benjiowen84332 жыл бұрын
It’ll grow and thrive tbh
@hopworksup2 жыл бұрын
After an apocalypse slab city would be abandoned in under a month. They are completely dependant upon the outside world for food, water, and everything else. Nobody there is even close to being self sufficient. Once the last drop of water runs out and the last brick of ramen gets eaten everyone will either die or leave.
@hopworksup2 жыл бұрын
Forgot to add that in an apocalypse situation slab city would be pointless anyway. After an apocalypse everywhere becomes free as slabs. Except other places actually have water sources, food sources, and more hospitable weather.
@juddsonorr27992 жыл бұрын
Idk if it would survive or remain the same in an apocalypse but a lot more places like it would exist for sure. Surprising that no one mentioned this yet but it has serious Fallout New Vegas vibes for some reason imo. 😂 Either way definitely interesting. Wouldn't mind seeing it someday.

Sometimes I just wish I lived in a place like that. Where the only thing I need is food, water and a comfy place to sleep and that's it. No worries about work and a million other things
@dagshadowville9 жыл бұрын
+Mike Wright I haven't been to Slab City but have traveled in similar circles and let me tell you that there are better places to live a life like that. Spending time with these folks is great, but living with em is it's own mess of bullshit. This place looks filthy. I'd rather spend my time in a commune where people are actually taking care of the place.
@thetruth456789 жыл бұрын
+Mike Wright Once you get the food, water and comfy place to sleep, you'll find you'll need a little bit more. Food usually requires at least 5 more things to be beneficial to human life. Storage, Cleaning, Preparing, Cooking and Serving. If you fail to properly handle your food, it's as good as poison. You need strong boxes for dry goods to keep rats out, cold storage for perishables, a full set of kitchen utensils, including pots, pans, plates bowls, knives and so on, a reliable heat source to cook with, and a way to clean your dishes and food areas after you're done. Your body and clothes also need cleaning, so you'll need a variety of soaps and lots of hot water. You'll need a heat source for your dwelling, because it gets extremely cold in the desert at night. You'll probably use wood as fuel, so you'll need wood cutting tools like saws and axes, or perhaps a chainsaw and wood splitter, which take fuel. Getting the wood to your dwelling will become more and more difficult, as you clear the land of trees. Eventually, you will need transportation. The list just goes on and on. There is no such thing as simple living. You were sold a fairy tale.

Nicely put. It is the biggest con in history that people have been tricked into believing they need to be wage slaves to not be ashamed of their existence. We were born to be free. That means we have the liberty to, as our eloquent friends place it, "live in an dump and drink and tweak ourselves to death," and be "lowlifes and junkies." I do sense a certain envy. These people are doing what they want, not what they are told to do by society. That, in itself, is noble.
@seabeevet79999 жыл бұрын

@Meganschmidt19857 жыл бұрын
Nathan Webb, the fuck happened to your thread? Haha. The old me would drop tabs, but after many bad trips, just can't bring myself to drop tabs again. I'll eat some mushrooms, but I'll never touch acid again. The last bad trip I had I was walking near my house, nothing looked familiar. I thought I was in a different country. I somehow made it home, and the Christmas lights I had up were turning into vines, running down my walls. I went to my bathroom to splash water on my face to snap out of it and made the mistake of looking in the mirror and my face morphed into the devil. I was staring back at the devil and the devil was me. It was terrifying and only got worse. I sat on my bed to collect myself because me and reality didn't even know each other, and it was crazy. I had an outer body experience and saw myself sitting on my bed while above my body looking down at myself sitting at the edge of my bed. It was a decade ago and I remember it like it was yesterday. I thought between just seeing the devil and viewing my body from a different perspective, completely detached from it that I was dead and in hell. I t was such an intense experience, traumatizing at the same time. So on the rare occasion I do hallucinogens (maybe once every 5 years now, if that ) its mushrooms. Never had a bad trip from them.
