While this documentary does bring up valid and concerning points, it is extremely biased. I am Sudanese and have lived in Khartoum for the past 5 years and not once have I ever seen any sort of hostility towards foreigners. As I am sure most documentaries do the information, especially concerning Northern culture, is extremely exaggerated. The food is safe to eat, there is clean, bottled water and people are permitted to leave the city. I've visited and attended multiple schools and have never seen any of the "hatred" mentioned in this documentary, the kids were probably just curious to be honest.

As a sudanese man watching this video. Only one point i wanted to clarify and that would be the point about the islamic schools or khalwa. The person in the video made a comment about how he felt that the children were being raised to hate him. And how he could see the hate in their eyes. Funny thing is all the kids in that video where smiling and looked happy and bemused. I grew up in khartoum and have been to these schools. There is no teaching save for the quraan. Some schools may be politicized and some may not, but the vast majority are taught basic islamic teachings, and nothing pertaining to western hate or white genocide or all these weird notions do not exist. People in sudan are struggling to find ends meat, same goes for those children and even more so. They cannot afford the time energy or the resources to even think of the west, let alone hate it. To whomever made this video. A good journalist knows how to differentiate between fact and opinion, and reports only the former, and strives to keep the latter at bay when forming judgement. U have failed miserably to do so. I wish u better luck in the future my friend. And as a Sudanese man, i want to tell u that we do not hate u or the west. And we wish u good luck and health.
