These people aren’t hurt or traumatized in the slightest, they’re a bunch of kids who never matured or grew up. All they do is stand around smoking and drinking while they have mommy daddy and their grandparents at home waiting for them to come home to their home cooked meal. 90% of these “gangbangers” still live with their mommy and get fed for free. Most suburbans have an unstable home compared to these wannabe gangbangers . I just hate to see so many people claim to have experienced trauma for sympathy or to fit in when they clearly haven’t been traumatized

The downside of using weed as medicine for trauma is that PTSD already causes dissociation. If you're dissociated AND high, then you're just a zombie. Being a zombie is preferable to being in a hypervigilant fear state, but only slightly. Weed is helpful for trauma when taken in moderation and when you're in the right frame of mind. It's great at the end of a long, stressful day when you're finally able to relax. ....but I speak from A LOT of experience when I say that staying stoned all the time is a great way to ensure that you never actually learn how to process your trauma and learn how to work around it. Microdosing mushrooms is FAR more helpful for PTSD. Instead of dissociating, you actually feel more sober and clear-headed than normal. Ketamine and/or MDMA treatments and the Stellate Ganglion nerve block procedure can also be lifesavers.

As someone who has smoked weed for over 10 years daily to cope with trauma and other stuff, I can say it does not help. You just live in the illusion that it helps you and that it's a relief from the stress your experiencing but eventually it will just make it worse and even add other problems with it such as anxiety and depression or other negative feelings and thoughts. It's not helping, it just delays the impact of the feelings to a later moment in time, which you then try to avoid again by smoking again. And only when you get out of this cycle you will start to see that this is the reality, unfortunately. I do have to say, it might be different when people would use CBD oil, because it works differently than when you would smoke weed (bc of the thc which has been removed from the oil).

@@MarkEight36 the insurance industry would never allow full legalization. And if it did, work comp rates would be insane since the number of work comp claims being filed as a work related injury rather than something someone just goes to patient first for on the weekend because they don't want to lose their job. That's the sad reality. The place you work right now will have to pay higher rates and insurance companies have to be ok with paying out on Billions of dollars in healthcare bills they normally don't have to pay. Those Two things have to happen for nationwide legalization. Look at Florida with Hurricane coverage. They just decided to stop covering pretty much everyone in Florida for wind coverage. Millions of people have no home owners insurance and have no options for it because insurance companies lost too much money. Are you stupid enough to think every single business owner in American wants higher insurance rates and more paperwork when weed users are injured at the work place, just so some gang member can have legal weed?

Sometimes stabbings would happen or someone seriously injured with a bat. When you saw the police, you waive at them as a kid. They would stop and hand their baseball cards. Then crack came and flipped the city and or community upside-down. Oliver North basically sent a community in to self destruction with his Iran Contra stunt. Gangs would have long been just memory, if crack had not come shortly after the end of Vietnam war.

Exactly!!! They are not traumatized what’s so ever, these mfs version of gangbanging is livin with the mommy rent free in your 20s and then going outside to play with their friends. Everybody claiming mental illness thinking shits cool and fun. These mfs aren’t even gang affiliated. They can claim a set all they want but their just regular civilians 😂 they not even moving no weight at least

I’m looking for a Vice video in which they had several active and retired police officers speaking about changes in the department. I saw it last night and forgot to save it . Can someone place the link in here? It’s a Part 1 and Part 2 work. Thanks

It’s not surprising that cannabis helps with ptsd. Most mammalian creatures that we know of utilize the endocannabinoid system for stress relief in order to “shake off” stress.

A “Job” is only an idea like “money”. When you realize what it means to have nothing. With no light at the end of the tunnel you are expected to perceivably act one way or the other and concede, from birth… The government created a job title for blacks in America and free housing when they begin to make to much money… slavery is all races on this planet. Black people have been oppressed, this is not slavery and that is where people loose semantic relevance. This is not just blacks in America. America will strive to say we abolished slavery and created equal rights, well Britain actually ended the slave trade…. And America used blacks for infrastructure until the country had a better capacity of physical labor, whites knew blacks would deliver immediately… but did not return them home after acquisition labor… Once you have been profiled by authority based on the color of your skin… you may have a change in perspective. Until then if you aren’t black and you have a opinion on the situation you are most likely ignorant and racist

It’s almost as if some people don’t get a choice bc their entire environment is that and all of the people close to them do that and they aren’t able to get an education bc their parents and communities are focused on illegal activity so they are put into that environment. A dog shouldn’t get hit for eating the food in front of its face. You sound ignorant
@LeadSlinger_15 күн бұрын
@dnmn9744 That is just BS. Everyone has a choice, and there are plenty of people who grew up in those types of circumstances and got out of it without joining a gang and being a criminal. I know this and can speak on it cause I grew up in that environment (chicago), and I didn't go down that path and either did plenty of people i know. It's called working hard and wanting a better life. Is it hard? Yes. But it is far from impossible. Now stop using that tired old excuse cause it is just completely false.

I’m really tired of this depiction of Compton/South Central. Just say “LA” because this same thing is happening all over LA and the country, not just overwhelmingly in Compton. Yes, gangs still exist, but the area is so much more. Excellence, academia, healthy families are NOT an anomaly 🙄

WTF. Why focus on the better off and privleged? There are obviously no rungs for everyone to climb to the heights of 'never ever having to experience the hell of poverty and such'... And not everyone gets the privilege to become excellent and free of social and economic disturbances/obstacles, and the world just was never sane enough to sustain any real definition of a healthy family that extends beyond just merely functioning and then dying as a group of related people... True healthy families don't exist yet, because there is no nation that adopts Meritocracy as opposed to the loads of irrational crap that has our world in ruin with this mess and insanity.
