That doesn't make you horrible. It is a kind gesture on his part, but the thing is, He was not holding her back. She was. Because she thought she HAD to do it with her hubby, she was allowing herself to make him the barrier and that is unfair to him. That he went through all of that so that she could have the experience that she truly wanted but didn't think she deserved shows that he thought she deserved it whether or not he was with her. Relationships are great but it doesn't mean you have to do literally "everything" together for it to work. There’s an excellent Argentine TV series (fiction) called “Los simuladores” (2002) and it reminds me of this. A misterious group of people that gathered their abilities to simulate situations for people in order to overcome problems with their marriage, problems with the mob, etc. Great vid Vice!
