The fact that the mom and the sister put their HOUSES in while Tatiana only put in a thousand dollars into the business is crazy to me
@xmarine737 ай бұрын
Not too crazy if they all believed in the restaurant. What's crazy to me is that they put their houses up, didn't seem to have a contract or anything else to show for their investment, AND they seemingly had zero say. What? They are Angel investors, should be partners, and they should be keenly aware of the what the books look like. Additionally, all three of the ladies should have known what was going on in the kitchen and freezers/refrigerators. They should also be eating there and tasting the food at least periodically. Ramsey had one craptastic meal and went straight to the kitchen to find out why it was so bad... in the span of less than 12 hours. They've had years.

Also, I found it bullshit that she's been there for 10 years but never taste any of the food as you can see she's even feel disgusted with that toasted Ravioli meanwhile the waitress who served Gordon knows more about the food than her and she's even feeling embarassed to serve that "Lasagna" and never recommend the Ravioli. But seriously, that's a Lasagna? It looks like a curry rice. Not to mention, she's even called the Pastas as "Noodles" and mistaken Pizza Dough with Pizza Bread. Tatiana's pride is off the chart. I know people blame Casemiro, and for sure he was a problem, but not being able to know who is doing a bad job as a Manager and one of the owners, is simply ridiculous. She never took into account the opinion of the co-owners, the sous chef or the employees. It was also always someone else's problem. Narcissist.

I know Tatiana should be responsible of everything but what about her mom and her sister tho? They never done anything to the restaurant, they just stand there and watch while doing nothing, they also never check the kitchen or even tell Tatiana the problem of the restaurant and they just trust their family member who is spoiled and a crybaby to manage the restaurant and all of them have no clues of how to manage restaurant in general! Especially the fact Tatiana's sister look older than her, she should've told her how to be responsible since she's the oldest and know about experience. I have a sister who is 6 years older and she's always telling me to be responsible of everything and not to depend to the others. Seriously, she's not a little Princess anymore!
@Deedee00073 жыл бұрын
@@margarethmichelina5146 This business venture was never the dream of the sister or the mother. They weren't the ones who wanted to buy the restaurant, Tatiana was for sentimental reasons. It wasn't even their full time job. They made that perfectly clear. Their mistake was lending her money. They became the collateral for a family member who clear didn't care about them enough to take care of their investment. According to the episode, they did tell her multiple times the chef was the problem, that the restaurant needed change, etc, but it would fall on deaf ears. Tatiana was too full of herself and always put on this "Don't tell me what to do, I know what I'm doing" facade. At the end, apparently this restaurant went under. As the true owner of the restaurant, Tatiana was at fault, but the fault of being broke was the mom and the sister. I know you should try and help family when you can, but getting money involved for a business, especially when family puts their HOMES on the line, is a big no for me. The mom and the sister should have never lent her money for that venture, ever, if they weren't going to be involved. They never had any intention of running the restaurant which the clarified in the first 5-10 min of the episode.

She is not an evil person but definitely manipulative - she charms, she dominates, she cries as needed. This was a big nest of facilitators. The Mom and the sister mesmerized by the beautiful Tatiana who is basically a spoiled child, unable to face reality or take criticism. They made her naive and weak which in turn allowed a parasite like Casimiro to suck the blood out of the restaurant. The waitress and sous-chef were unfortunately stuck in the middle of this toxic soup.

The moment a restaurant offers its WAITRESS to take ownership you just know it's bad. What qualifications could a waitress have to run a restaurant? Sure some could have education in it but most only do it as a Minijob to earn some money on the side. No experience, no Education, and she thought she could run a restaurant that already had a bad name?
@margarethmichelina51463 жыл бұрын
@@Orangecatenergy There's actually another Kitchen Nightmares episode when 2 Waitresses took over a restaurant. The name is Classic American. Unlike Tatiana who's manipulating her own family to keep the restaurant for herself, those 2 are hardworking and they are genuinely confused of how to manage a restaurant in general. Also, the episode is one of the most peaceful KN episodes because there's no bad people, everyone accepted their mistakes, they respect to Gordon, the kitchen is surprisingly clean. The restaurant took 3 years to survive after the episode aired and they're still continuing their catering business. 3 years is fine but if you can survive for more than 5 years after the episode aired now it's a great accomplishment.
