OMG, so much hate in the comments section! It's so sad how Indians pull other Indians down. Here is a family that is working 7 days a week in a foreign country, trying to preserve their culture and traditions. They offer Indians abroad a place where they can come and feel at home. There is no hatred against Brahmins. There is contention against recognizing cast, something which our constitution aims to abolish to suppress institutional racism, rather than anything personal against the man or his family. The moment we start associating cultural values with caste, we take the first step towards caste-based discrimination. Hence its all right for us to be proud of our geographical roots, being a Tamilian in this case, but not of our caste, being a "Tam Brahm". For perspective, imagine a video of a White old dude saying he is proud of being a white restaurant owner for 20 minutes. Your perception towards that might be very different.

Its true a vegetarian diet prevents many illness, such as diabetes, cancers, heart problems, etc. But that said because someone is a vegetarian does not mean you are going to be a Pius person, on the contrary, many of histories most vicious and violent individuals very pure vegetarians, such as Hitler, Pol Pot from Cambodia who slaughtered his own countrymen, being vegetarian is no guarentee of being peaceful, everything needs to be balanced in life. Just some food for thought for all those who feel everything is fine with this video: There is no hatred against Brahmins here. There is contention against recognizing cast, something which our constitution aims to abolish to suppress institutional racism, rather than anything personal against the man or his family. The moment we start associating cultural values with caste, we take the first step towards caste-based discrimination. Hence its all right for us to be proud of our geographical roots, being a Tamilian in this case, but not of our caste, being a "Tam Brahm". For perspective, imagine a video of a White old dude saying he is proud of being a white restaurant owner for 20 minutes. Your perception towards that might be very different.
