Thai Academic Exiled for Criticising the Government | Censored

Thai academic Pavin Chachavalpongpun is a social media influencer and a fierce critic of the establishment. One of the most prominent critics of Thailand’s monarchy, which is protected by one of the world’s strictest royal defamation laws, Pavin is now living in exile in Japan, and remains so. He faces a slew of charges including for refusing to report to the military junta as well as for computer crimes.
