Hey, thanks for reaching out! Not a stupid question at all. It depends on the resort but with the all inclusive package at Le Blanc all food and beverages including alcohol were included. Room service and all restaurants were included, as well as the bar at the pool and lobby lounge. However, the spa was an extra cost (we didn't use it) and we chose to tip extra gratuity to our room staff at the end of our trip (optional). We hope this helps!!

Thank you so much! We use a Canon G7x for most of our vlogs, our iPhones with an external microphone are used a lot when we don't have our camera. For our drone, we have a DJI Mavic Pro. Hope this helps!!

We just came back from Cancun and we stayed at the RIU Caribe. We could not get our room cold. They set the AC to a certain temp and that’s it. Wondering how it is in this hotel because we would like to go back.

We were able to adjust the AC in the room! We set it as low as 67 degrees Fahrenheit but fairly sure it might be able to go lower!

Big Hello, u r probably best person to guide me. i wish to travel to cancun in the future, maybe january next yr. i dont want a hotel in the downtown. if u could tell me hotel names of the cheapest hotels, resorts in the hotel area thats the beach area. the long beach side of cancun which looks like a 7 shape, from playa delfines till playa la perlas, even the kukulkan road , if u give me 10 hotel names i can contact them plus i need airport transfer,pls guide me

Hi Sid, thank you for reaching out to us! We use Google to search for the cheapest hotels while we travel, we also use a website called TripAdvisor. You can sort by area, price and read reviews. TripAdvisor also ranks the hotels based on your filters so you are able to see 10 hotel names within the area you are looking for in the budget you are looking for! Hope this helps and good luck. Hi David, it's not required but we really felt our butlers went above and beyond so we tipped them $50 each at the end of our stay. The amount is up to you, even $20 would be acceptable if you feel they really helped you.

What is proper in regards to tipping?

It varies per resort. This resort didn’t require tips at all but check with your resort’s policies. We did tip housekeeping, butlers, room service and bar staff because we felt they went above and beyond the normal duties. It was not required but for bar staff and room service, we tipped upon service - about $2-$3 per round of food/drinks. Butlers and housekeeping: we tipped at the end of our stay before we left and thanked them personally as well. $2-5 per day for housekeeping, if you are like us and leave a particularly disorganized and messy room each day because you are on vacation- lean towards the high side of that. Butlers tips are usually around 5% of the nightly room rate. We had two butlers, one for the morning and one for the evening and gave them both tips since they equally handled our reservations, requests, and random questions. One of the butlers even called our group when the sea turtle team saw sea turtles come ashore so we could head down and see them per our request (the turtles show up unexpectedly in the middle of the night). You can lean towards a lower tip if you don’t utilize their services as often. Everyone is different but we hope this helps!

Beautiful resort. Not sure why they are rated number 1 in Cancun. Could be due to collected revenues etc. In my opinion, Excellence Playa Mujeres blows them away in service and accomodations. Look and compare the TripAdvisor reviews.

At the time of visit (July 2020), Le Blanc had all their staff wear masks and it was optional for guests as long as guests cleared a COVID survey upon check in, were socially distanced from others during the stay, and had temperatures taken. Tables at restaurants were set further apart, along with lounge chairs, lobby chairs, etc. Everyone we saw was very conscious and respectful of the rules and space. We are not sure if this has changed since our visit.

Couldn't agree more. EPM is way better. The food, accommodations and pricing is much better. We always go with a swim up suite in the Excellence Club. How this resort is considered number one....just do not understand.
