HF Trailer: Close Encounter of the Wrong Kind

I had the same problem. I’m wondering if those brackets were made for smaller tires as this trailer used to have smaller wheels. A recall is clearly in order here.

Pretty simple fix. Use less air! More air makes the tire "bigger" so it will rub.

I did some research and the consensus was that if the sidewall says xx PSI, that's how you should inflate it. They also said that most trailer blowouts are from under-inflation, which is why I figured I had better get with the program. Anyway, I'm going to ask the tire guy what he thinks when I get it replaced.
