A woman who was struck and killed by a suspect's vehicle during a botched robbery attempt at Newport Beach's Fashion Island has been identified as a 68-year-old tourist visiting from New Zealand. The names of three suspects in custody were also released Wednesday.

They grabbed her as a hostage when the husband didn’t give up his Rolex. They were trying to get her into their car but she fell onto the street. People tried to stop them and started coming towards the car, the driver then ran her over as he sped out of there as fast as possible. How they tried to take an old woman shows just how dangerous they are. Pretty sure they will face the death penalty as OC is very hard on crime unlike LA which has been very soft.
