Kinda seems like a meal that's completely unnecessary to order for room service. You automatically get charged a service tip. And most people don't know that so they double tip. Hotel I worked at was a medium size place and room service guys were taking home around $1500-2000/wk. Summer conventional season they'd pull around $4-5k. I know Victor's paying for the hotel and all, but he's really being a pain in the ass for a lot of people. A little bit of understanding that you're at a hotel and people won't read your mind, a lot of that food will go to waste too. Having a little bit less perfect meals for a few days won't kill you. Being a cook is already a horrible fate, dealing with a guy who calls because his oatmeal isn't lumpy enough isn't going to make anyone's day. Extra points if someone had trouble with HR because they added a yolk to your omlet.

Muscle & Strength I totally agree. This is how he shows his professionalism and perseverance in this sport. I, like most non-professionals, would probably eat the first version of breakfast and then spend the whole day grunting about the room service. 😅 . Good work Victor, that’s how it’s done. 💪

They were scared to insult him because he's buff and it was on film, but otherwise he would've been harassed by the staff. I remember how all the time I went to a café or restaurant the waiters and barmen were discussing my preferences. I felt bad so I left some tip (baksheesh) to all of them, but they were still saying mean things about me behind my back in the kitchen, because they had to recreate the menu to fit my medical dietary requirements (you can hear almost everything from the kitchen; it was behind the wall corner and half open with no doors). I eat very fast as I was stressed, I left the money on the table and rushed home and couldn't even sleep because I felt guilty and never came back to that dining place.

My blood pressure is up just from watching this s..t and you know what? I am glad that he doesn't have that 07 O. title.. Seriously...

Why? He was very polite and respectful to everyone he spoke with. Bodybuilding nutrition is more complicated than "Eat XYZ". Especially at Vic's age. You have to factor in digestibility and appetite.

The chef was probably like " you know what I have had enough of this Mr.Martinez, I'm going up there to give him a little piece of my mind" Chef: Knocks on the door Mr. Martinez: opens the door Chef: hi Mr. Martinez just wanted to make sure everything was perfect.

If I were paying for the food at these prices I would want it exactly how I ordered it. All these people are hating on Victor but I can’t blame the guy especially since he competes at the highest level of bodybuilding. He only wants the best in his body and he’s wants his food a certain way. He wasn’t rude so chill out.

Jeez... he might as well have his own personal menu set, the "Victor Martinez Meal Set" with every hotel & restaurant he regularly comes to.

Thank you for the feedback. How so? He was very respectful to the staff, and the staff was respectful back. As an elite and aging bodybuilder, he has very specific needs. It's more than "I want and need this" at this level - plus he is paying for the service. I think it showed a valuable insight into what it takes to eat under those circumstance and at that level. Most gen pop won't understand.

@@muscleandstrength i completely understand the level he is competing at and the sacrifice and diligence it takes to monitor all his food intake. with that said... it is probably best to show him prepare his own meals to his level of satisfaction rather than show the viewers that he placed not one not two but 5 calls to hotel services to get his order correct to his standard. the hotel he is staying at is geared to the average customer not elite athelete. the perception of most who watched this video illustrate that victor was portrayed in a less than ideal light. the fact that ms even highlighted the number of phone calls he made even displays ms surprise that victor was going to that level. at the end of the day, an elite athletes following is critical to his success. i think if anything you made the public question their support of victor. at least you did of mine with this video.
