Fred Dumorne Yea man, that was horrible. His mom, his incarceration, him being told he was too small to compete when he FINALLY got out. So he got back into the gym with no money no license but still driving to the gym.. on and on. Sometimes a trophy means nothing compared to THIS kind of stuff you have to go through OFF stage. you dont have to be a bodybuilder, or you dont have to eat like this either to have a reason to go to the gym. 80% of gaining muscle is eating and 20% is hard work in the gym. You only need 1/24 hours each day for the gym. Eating is simple too. Dont overthink stuff. You can eat little by little throughout the day for you to reach your calorie goal. The only reason why you would say going to the gym is exhausting is because you're not getting enough fuel in your body. You gotta put your body in a schedule for it to function. I have no idea about your schedule. I carry my meals where ever I go. I make a peanut butter sandwich for train ride. I disagree on the expensive part too. Chicken is expensive but there are other sources of protein that cost less money. Its your responsibility to educate yourself on cost-efficient meals and when to workout. If going to the gym is expensive for you, guess what, you can use your own body weight at home or at the park. You can workout triceps shoulders and chest with different types of pushups. ITS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO EDUCATE YOURSELF ON WHAT WORKS FOR YOU.

Chase PESO just a suggestion, but I would recommend cardio/treadmill in a fasted state because this is when you want to cut out body fat. But, on a lift day and the day after lifting (it takes up to 48 hours for muscles to recover from a strenuous lift day) your nutrition needs to be on point if you want to have maximum muscle growth and recovery. There’s a saying that 70% of body building is eating. Try having some protein such as whey, and a slow release complex carbohydrate before starting your lift day. Compare to your normal routine and see if there are noticeable benefits.
@heshamaldhahiry956 жыл бұрын
Same here, im 165/5'6. I prefer training in a fasted state as im not sluggish. And even normally, i only eat one meal a day. I usually keep myself going with fluids like water mostly, two cups of coffee, some sugary drinks as well to replenish low glycogen levels. My peers think im weird for not eating like them, but i get lazy especially at work. So yea to each their own lol
