Frankly, shock collars shouldn't be sold at all, but if you're going to sell them, all potential buyers should be legally required to wear it and be shocked at least three times on the highest setting before being allowed to purchase them. That way they know exactly how bad it gets

Mike he’s a horrible father and husband I can’t say that enough and I know I shouldn’t be saying that but just the way he acts towards his daughter and his wife not to mention the dog I don’t think he belongs in this household if he’s not gonna fix his own attitude up. I don’t think it’s mainly the dogs problem I think it’s the husbands problem in this episode that has the issue.

He thinks he is, sadly. Too many dog training books say to discipline and dominate, and the dog will learn to submit to you as the boss. It's never about teaching and rewarding good behavior, just a constant cycle of bullying your dog into submission, which is exactly what he was doing.

There are lots of places and people who will argue that shock collars are perfectly fine when used responsibly. You can probably find some of them on this comment section. And if someone doesn't know any better they can totally fall for the lie.

@@littlekitsune1 It's so funny because animals generally figures out who's the "boss" in the house and will listen you if you're giving open commands. Like my mother never tried to train my dog (I did) ,didn't even give him much attention (she doesn't touch him generally) she only walked him for 4 days when I was on vacation and he knows my mom is the boss of the house. He loves her, listens to her better then anyone else. He knows who pays for his treats lol.

i'm in no way defending shock collars or anything of the sort, but don't they all come in one size? just asking. i'd NEVER use one. i've only seen them in one size. correct me if i'm wrong here. again, i HATE shock collars myself so don't attack me or anything. i don't agree with putting a shock collar or any device like that on any living creature.

@@tanyasobsessions2131 from what I've read they come in different sizes and different voltages but regardless they're still cruel and inhumane you wouldn't do that to a child displaying negative behaviour I don't know why people think its ok to do it to an animal. Also there's another video with this family where the wife's brother admits he terrorises the dog and laughs like its a big joke he even laughs when Victoria told him how his behaviour impacts the dog. She tells him how to behave when he comes over and it goes in one ear and out the other soon as he leaves and knocks he starts tormenting the dog
