Victoria’s are amazing amps. i have a Golden Melody (tweed bassman front end into tweed twin power section, 2x12). tones and dynamics are incredible. three-band EQ with an insanely impacting mid control. can go from almost blackface fender clean to vintage biting marshall tones by just dumping or diming the mids. great amps.

Really wanted to like this amp’s tone but it just sounded too thin. I have a new Victoria 5 watt with 12 “ speaker, do I have purchased a Victoria amp. Your playing is great as always, but this amp sounds like crap. The Fender reissue slays it. Could something be wrong?

Stiff Richard, yeah, something could be wrong and it's you.

@@captainamerica9353 Really? I've heard 1 watt micro amps sound better than that. But when he was doing AC/DC, I could hear the potential. A boost pedal in front and a mic with more low-mid punch would get it there. Better tubes too? Hotter?

@@stiffrichard2816 , I really think it's just you, or your taste in sound. Victoria has a great reputation and they would not have cheap tubes in there. But I'm pretty easy. Once I moved up from my Berhringer and nasty-sounding BJ III , I have not had a bad sounding amp. From Vibro-Champs to bigger Fenders, Vox's, a Marshall, all have been good. ?

Well, you can tell that both amps don't sound anything alike, right? Who knows where he got the Victoria? Used, what tubes, what speakers, ect... So many variables.

Fender doesn't slay it. not even close. That's why pros buy Victorias.
