As much as everyone knocks the jeep, it does do it with ease. I wants one.
@ntsms695 жыл бұрын
I'm not sure that 'everyone' knocks the Jeep. There may be some, but you will always get them. This video shows the true ability of the Jeep, and the adventure that it brings. Don't waste time on the doubters, enjoy the outdoor, the Jeep, the 4X4s, the lifestyle.

They are horrifically finished, and far from modern, sleek design for improved comfort and fuel efficiency. But you can't beat a Jeep off-road. Just can't. I'm saving up for Gladiator.

Hey! Nice one! How much does the patrol weights? How much fuel does it burn?

Loaded for a moth long trip about 3.4t. Fuel is a tough one, towing low 20'slph not towing around 16lph

I watched the cape trip yesterday, high country today. Both trips broken hubs on the Nissan. disappointing. Do you think maybe the 35’s are a bit too big?
@SIDETRACKED4 жыл бұрын
No wheels are fine, cheap hubs more the issue. Since put quality genuine manuals in and all good.

Nice vid guys👍, I’ve done that track a couple of times now in my unlocked 80 and got the battle scars to prove it but I went up it both times not down. At an educated guess the GU did either hub or cv while in reverse for a switch back?

Awesome episode guys... Reckon those tyres could have gone a lot lower though no? Tracks and lack of traction looked good for 15-18psi but pressures didn’t look anywhere near that. What were you running?
@lachie88885 жыл бұрын
Graeme Yamaha, depends on tyre type too. My reference, I should note, is mud terrain where sub 20 is often fine in slow wet rock crawling terrain. Do you reckon those tyres looked like they deformed enough to grab the wet rocky track?
@lachie88885 жыл бұрын
Graeme Yamaha, ok mate, thanks for your perspective... Appreciate it.

Hey Nick & Marko, what are those front runner chairs like? Looking for compact chairs but practical and comfortable chairs
@SIDETRACKED3 жыл бұрын
We thought we'd break them straight away... but the things are still going and boy have we abused them! No way are these the most comfy spot for your butt, but the size is amazing. The cup holder is on the piss a bit (due to being all flexible) but still does the job. Real good chair.

How do the patrol auto hubs work? Were you in auto to try and stop axle wind-up in 4low?

How does the Teraflex suspension work on the JK?

The Falcon shocks are a beefy unit, very happy with them. The mounting position in the rear is a little worrying, seen a lot of snapped mounts possibly due to over stress..
