I carried a Tinker every day for over 40 years, thinking it was the best multi-knife ever made. That was before I discovered the Super Tinker. The Tinker is still part of my EDC rotation, , but it's now the second-best multi-knife ever made. Given how many knives I've carried over the last 60-odd years, that's pretty high praise.

The Super Tinker was a pattern that flew under my radar for a long time, but a few months back I bought one just for the heck of it. And since then it's become one of my most carried SAKs. Fantastic edc knife. Thanks for your thoughts on it, buddy!

Great edc knife. The Climber is my favourite SAK for daily use, basically the same knife but switching the Philips for a corkscrew.

Agreed. The can opener screwdriver doubles as a Phillip's, so I prefer to have the corkscrew. It's good for untying knots and opening wine. Plus it can hold a small ferro rod and tinder, or the eyeglasses screwdriver.

I bought my daughter a Super Tinker. She loves it. I’ve always had the Climber with Plus scales and keep a mini screwdriver for my glasses. I’m using the pen all the time, plus a pin which is useful for digging out splinters. Both excellent knives.

The Super Tinker is a great SAK and I've carried mine daily for years now, I've also got the upgraded Plus Scales for it as well. I'd have to say of all the SAK's I currently own, it's probably my favorite; arguably it get used the most, anyway. Thanks for sharing and Cheers!

I love the scissors and if you need a phillips more than a corkscrew. This is a compact knife and if you clamp a jigsaw blade with the hook hey presto you have a field master.

I got one of these a couple of weeks ago (video on the way). I think they're almost perfect as a multi tool. The Phillips screwdriver is more useful than the corkscrew.

That's a solid choice and at a good price! Im big on the notching saw so went with the Huntsman which is in the same ballpark. Would like a Huntsman with a Philips instead of the corkscrew if there is such a thing one day. Don't go hiking without a 91mm this time of year, theyre great for removing thorns.

I wanted the same thing when I picked up a Huntsman. Everyone told me the Fieldmaster was the option I needed. it swaps a Phillips for the corkscrew and then they charge $12 more for it. Go figure. Thanks, JK.

I hate my super tinker, because I tend to leave the Leatherman pliers at home and use only the SAK in EDC. Made all of my investments in to dust collectors.
