I studied at SDSU in the early 90’s. Back then NDSU had a solid football program whereas SDSU was trying to build a good one. NDSU usted to win the NCC on a regular basis , as well as the Division II. Well, finally SDSU defeated NDSU in a big game. This outcome made my day!

@@chr970 I grew up in Fargo and really like it (live in Houston now). Would definitely be worth a weekend trip if it’s not too far away. Only way it’d be depressing and miserable is if you hate the long cold winters, which I’m assuming wouldn’t be too hard on a Canadian

@@julianrosas9134 thanks Juliana. Yes it looks nice, and I don’t mind winters haha. Spent a year in northern Manitoba,... really cold but it was a dry cold as they say so if dressed it’s not bad. Being from Nova Scotia, the winters are actually fairly mild,...but damp,...the wind and chills stays right with you. But summers are great! I would assume Houston has it pluses as well. You can find good in just any area I think.😊

I can’t be to upset or disappointed when we’ve been through this feeling 9 out of 11 years, it was bound to happen to South Dakota sooner or later. Definitely being down 8 players hurt us and new if we were to do it again we would have to scrap for it unlike previous years. Congrats to the Jacks and definitely looking forward to our rematch next year, I know 2023 Bison will be motivated!

Honestly, I haven't even heard of the Jackrabbits until last Fall when my son attended DSU a few miles south of SDSU. I attended CU in Boulder in the 90's during the Coach Mac years and got to experience the joys of being national champs. Congrats to the Jackrabbits and all their fans! He went up to the recruit and said you either gotta take that shirt off or wear it inside out . Because no other sport splits D1 into Bowl Series and Championship Series. The "F" is for "Football" - meaning it is the only sport to which it applies. It used to be Div. 1-AA back in the 1990s and prior.
