A short clip showing Victory Aircraft's Malton production line of Avro Ansons during the second world War. Victory Aircraft was formed from the expropriation of National Steel Car's aviation division by the Canadian government in 1942. This was done after concerns were raised about National Steel Car's ability to meet production demand for warplanes vital to the war effort. The crown corporation oversaw the production of license-built British aircraft including the Avro Lancaster, Anson, Lancastrian, Lincoln and York. All told, more than 3600 aircraft were produced by Victory Aircraft by war's end at which time the plant reverted to private ownership with its sale to Hawker-Siddeley. The factory changed hands several more times and would be operated by the likes of McDonnell Douglas and Boeing before closing in 2005. It was demolished shortly after.
Note: at the 40 sec. mark the two crewman are getting into a Cessna AT10 Crane (thanks @BBHC2012).
