(even if he misspoke=) When Ukrainian territory was conquered and occupied by ru empire (and later again by soviets) policy of russification by various means. - totally 60 bans of Ukrainian language. - many cases of deportations elocations of Ukrainians(&Tatars from Crimea) to east frontiers of empire (Siberia,Caucasus etc). - repopulation of UA territories by settlers from Russia. What "nazi" or "fascist" exactly means in this context, it's up to Russia, but it's no miracle that the West thinks something different about the alleged "nazis". The big difference is that this is not the Great Patriotic War (aka the Eastern front of WW2) in which the Wehrmacht had marched way outside Germany's international borders. This is another war in which Russia invaded the internationally recognized territory of a sovereign state called Ukraine.

This parade symbolizes Russia's victory against the Nazi's during WW2. This war in Ukraine was started because the United States staged a coup in Ukraine in 2014. You know overthrowing democratically elected leaders like in Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya, millions of people dead all based on lies? Or have you forgotten? Seems like you only care when people with your skin color are being killed. But when the US dropped nukes on Hiroshima and Nagasaki or occupied the holy lands committing unfathomable atrocities on browns you don't give a damn. Why would you? It would be as funny as all hell if Ukraine started a major offense attack during Sunday night Monday morning just to make Puten look bad for the day. This does not need to be a full out attack but lots of rades to do as much quick damage as possible that does not undermind Ukraines position in its defense or offense for the over all war. . I understand the point (I think) you are trying to put forward. Russia does ***not respect*** the history and sovereignty of your nation. They are acting like the WW2 version of Germany that saw itself as the arbiter of all that is good.. History teaches us (if we actually pay attention) that good and evil are subjective not only upon the society of the time but also upon the individuals within it
@fatimabeirao4714
@fatimabeirao4714 2 жыл бұрын
@@jamestakac8951 I’m really sorry to say, but, given the human atrocities that have been committed by Vladimir Putin's political regime in its invasion of Ukraine, we can never consider that "good and evil are subjective". In the present case of the war in Ukraine, EVIL is VERY VISIBLE and CONCRETE, it has nothing subjective. Murdering civilians, including children, completely destroying a country's infrastructure in about 2 months is HUMAN EVIL completely EQUATED with the ATROCITIES committed by the political regime of ADOLF HITLER, during the II WORLD WAR . Hitler killed millions of Jews and waged war invoking to purge the human race to obtain a superior human race. Vladimir Putin is waging a barbaric and illegal war, claiming to want to rebuild an empire he calls MOTHER RUSSIA, and for that he wants to eliminate those who want to be Ukrainians and want to live in his independent country, which has been independent for 30 years. 77 years after the end of AN AUTHENTIC EVIL HITLER'S POLITICAL we witness the RENAISSANCE of A NEW PURE EVIL, personified in the POLITICAL REGIME of VLADIMIR PUTIN. AND EVERYONE of the GOOD MUST put an END to the EVIL that PUTIN is COMMITTING on PLANET EARTH. And proof of this need is that the terrible political force of Vladimir Putin already has its "arms of this policy" spread over many other parts of the planet, such as in several European countries and even in the American continent.

He going to use option 2 see how it pans out. If he pushes his forces more to his southwest. He has plenty of forces there now. Keeping them there is another story. If he escalates using weapons of mass destruction it will galvanize NATO. He know that as a kgb man. Best option for him is to see how it goes in the land bridge area's and pray he can hold on to it. He is in a catch 22 already. Those area's he already captured are going to get counter attacked every day. My opinion he lost already when he did not capture Kiev. Win in a week. The longer it goes the worst it gets. Ukrainians will not stop till he's out of there upto the 2014 success he had. Now NATO will be even stronger Sweden and Finland are going to be full members he scared them into it. He lost already it all or nothing for him now. But to build him a golden bridge out as one Chinese general wrote in a war book we all read. It's going to be impossible now. I believe the only hope for Putin us see how it goes in the land bridge area and if not decair victory he denazifued the area and mission success. Or the alternative is all out war with NATO. He knows he will lose everything then.

@Anthony agreed 100% I'm not backing poopin just logic. But logic does not always apply to him. You got to ask yourself if you was him why do this in the first place? China egged him on as a sucker. To see how it goes as a dry run for Taiwan. There 3 major parties involved here China Russia Iran. They want to overthrow the American dollar as the world's currency. At they end of the day 1972 Nixon changed it from the gold standard to the petro dollar. If that collapse happens and it probably will. The Americans have an exit strategy go back to the gold standard. Have a moratorium on countries cashing in gold as the USA has most of the world's gold. There much more to this than just an attack on Ukraine. Mico level when you peel back the layers to macro levels this is the game plan. The USA brought it on herself. But there's another option default on all Chinese debt we acquired foolishly because of stupid politicians in all parties. Stop payments to China go to gold standard we have most of the world's gold in Reserves. President Clinton was the last president to have a balance budget. Like him hate him he does hold that honor. The USA brought it on itself foolish spending with both parties. If you are an American we are doomed and for some very hard times a head. If not you be in a economic war you can't win. China stuck to the USA is her biggest customer. Their getting a little big for there britches. You can see this is a struggle for western values or the alternative. Both have flaws but when you lock up 32 million people in a city with hard core tactics and say it's covid I don't want to live like that's. I take the lesser of the two.

5th option, declare that the various conquered regions will hold referendums to remain with Ukraine, form their own countries, or join Russia. Russia will obviously remain in the region to ensure the 'legality'of the referendums, and protect them from the Western fascists. Not a declaration of victory, but it allows him to put the Russian army on the defensive, which will limit losses, and any further fighting will 'clearly' be Ukraines fault.

The US also has an undeclared war war policy. Congress must declare war which it has not done since 1942. A sudden stalemate seems very unlikely at this stage. It would leave the "nazi" Zelenksy still in power and although Ukraine would not immediately join NATO, there would be a continued influx of weapons and training making a future "special operation" not just unwinnable but likely a losing proposition. I expect a Russian World emphasis which for some reason is rarely mentioned by western analysts. As far as the parade goes, I would not be surprised if a show is made of tactical nukes.

I had the pleasure and privilege of attending an operatic performance given by the Ukrainian National Municipal Opera, Kyiv, just last week. This was in a small city in England and there were probably about 700 in the audience. It was an excellent production of Madame Butterfly, and the applause reflected this. After this, the orchestra played the Ukrainian National Anthem which was sung by the cast. The audience reaction was even more enthusiastic. There wasn’t a dry eye in the house. With ambassadors of this calibre, Ukraine will keep its friends, and will make many more. It may sound trivial in the context of the blood being shed, and I apologise if this appears to be the impression given. I’d regard this as a valid exercise in getting a crucial message across and successfully getting support. Slava Ukraini!

I disagree. Russia transitioned from a socialist economic system to a capitalist one in the early 90s and all of the terrible aspects of the USSR, like media censorship, a one party state (de facto), secret police and rampant corruption and nepotism all continue to exist. There are also plenty of authoritarian capitalist states around the world like China and the Philippines. Socialism as it was implemented in the USSR and other alligned states, which was ultimately the legacy of Stalin, was inherently autorcratic, but it wasn't autocratic, because it was socialist. Stalin could have presided over a capitalist Russian state and still have been a ruthless dictator in an authoritarian regieme. Besides a few crazy people, no one wants to rebuilt that system. I personally support more democratic rights for workers within their respective workplaces and ultimately full worker ownership which is a development of our democracy into the economic sphere of society, which until now has remained under the firm control of a small elite.

Should they be defeated- which it genuinely looks as if they will win this conflict with the rate of Russian military failures and lack of land gain- then Russia would have to establish a puppet state anyways in the Ukrainian areas and directly annex the ethnically Russian regions. Even then- the Ukrainians have demonstrated incredible patriotism and willingness to fight for their homeland, so it’s likely Russia would have to deal with constant Revolutions or Partisans. Russia already failed in its largest and most important goal; making Ukraine look weak and Russia strong. They failed to demoralize Ukraine and divide it, and instead united it greater than ever before and ignited a patriotic fever within the Ukrainians. A question is forgotten. Point 5 (and so on): what would the Russians do? ask for a stop of the war? ask for a victory rallying behind their president? I believe these are better questions from now on. (And the comparison with the former Romanian President... sucks from many points of view, first conceptual as Romania had quite a violent way of dealing with its leaders that inspired the authorities at the end of 1989 to act the way they acted and for a reason that, today, no one pays anymore as elections will rapidly change the people who would not even have the time to make something and so, the increasing cost of life is no longer to be blamed on a person or a group, but rather on circumstances, bad luck or international factors, but anyhow on a different motiv, which was the case in most of the circumstances where leaders ended the way they did. It was not a Charles Taylor or a similar African bucher with which, Idi Amin can be compared with. The more time passes, the more leaders that are not on the like of some "liberal leaders" are qualified as autocrats and dictators while the real perpetuators remain unqualified or no one cares after they ended their mandate. In this respect it was said by the foreign underground media such as Radio Free Europe that Ceausescu had many billions of dollars in western banks, just a simple demagogic trick that is extensively used by the West - which holds in fact the biggest oligarchs even if they did not gained their fortune from politics but by connections before becoming top political leaders - to put stains on a paria leader and this is done during years and years till the brainwashed people are convinced about the reality of these allegations that remain unproven but they have achieved the desired purpose). I presume that for a question such as .... : who is a wealthier person, William J Clinton or Vladimir Putin, the answer to which many would rush to would be ........... . So what would the Russian people ask regarding the operations in Ukraine, that is the question. And it is also a tragedy at the same time, when people`s lives count, but seems that this aspect is more and more insignificant.

Russia should take Ukraine. It would stop WW3 from happening and save a lot more lives compared to the on going proxy war in Ukraine. NATO doesn't need Ukraine. The Ruskies will fight to the bitter end for Ukraine. It's best to just leave Ukraine alone and make it neutral.

Well, that´s just the looks. Keitel actually got nicknamed "Lakeitel", essentially mocking him as a lackey. Nobody ever said that about Putin. And that victory parade is not for Putin, it is aimed at the Russian population as a message of strength. This war is about geopolitics, not Putin´s personal preferences.

Rossiya not Russia, Ukraine is the real Rusia (one s) Rossiyans not Russians, Rossiya is the actual modern adopted name of the Grand Duchy of Muscovy, not Russia. Rossiya attacked the Rus’ state of Ukraine. It’s a Rosso-Rus’ Ukrainian war, war between the Northern Rus (Moscovan Rus) self proclaimed as Rossiya and the southern Rus (Kievan Rus), known these days as Ukraine. Rossiya actually stole it’s name, people must know that Ukraine is really Rusia and has always been Rusia until the 18th century, and “Russia” as we know it today, is and always was Muscovy, until they greekefied and stole the name of what is now called Ukraine. So Muscovy (self proclaimed as Rossiya) 🇷🇺 is attacking the real Rusia 🇺🇦 , foremost heir tho the legacy of the Kievan Rus. Слава Русь-Україні! Glory to Rus’-Ukraine!

The float showing the 2missing ship's formation will be interesting. Not so many missiles, these were shot at woman and children. Parade will be 30 minutes late due to the 40,000 dead and wounded not attending. 10 times as many Generals as the plastic badge factory have been flat out.

03:30 Ceaucescu was executed by firing squad. Under most military traditions, at least one gun will be loaded with a blank, so that a soldier in the squad could tell himself that his was not the gun which caused the death; but in this case, soldiers nudged one another to make sure they had a lethal weapon. Can we expect that Putin also rise to that level of hatred? I doubt it.

May 9th 2022 is like the most anticipated day since new years 2000. If he is sick like what people are saying he may ramp it up since he knows he will not face any punishment and go out with a bang. Whatever he decides it's not gonna be good he needs to show strength and victory. Even if he decides to stop pushing forward there are entire cities taken from ukraine this will be a disaster for decades to come even with putin gone.

Also consider, who says Putin successor will be better? At least Putin now it’s boundaries. He knows he would be destroyed by NATO if he touches NATO’s soil. He doesn’t want to throw nukes around (even if he says so). At also he’s smart, yes surely he’s evil and everything, but hes not stupid. What if he’s successor is just fucking crazy?
