Mega man X or any other snes/sega game with a colorful palette should really be the next game. PS1 environments are rough to watch, or at least Crash environments are. Everything just sort of blends together into a muddled mess. That being said, I'm glad this series is being continued and I will happily watch whatever you guys decide to play. Just think you guys would have more fun sticking to the 2d platformers.

I think it's quite harsh to call it "total trash", but I agree that nostalgia plays a big part in why the series is considered such a classic. I grew up with an N64 and had not played any Crash Bandicoot games before I was well into my teens, so I don't have much connection to it. Perhaps I'm biased because of that, but playing something like Super Mario 64 still feels rather fresh and well-tuned even today, while Crash feels noticeably dated and clunky in comparison.
