Such a major difference in your work flow now that you have someone that works and gets stuff done instead of sleeping under the truck all day. This is what im enjoying more about your videos now, stuff getting done and seeing how you customize and build parts on the truck and make it look nice. I honestly think if you had the old workers with you, it would just be more issues and nothing getting done. You should keep nathan around during the summer for stuff and even maybe get him on some concrete jobs if he wants to try it out.

As a business owner with many trucks, it’s not a bad idea to log what maintenance you have done to your vehicle’s. It’s good for regular maintenance and also when you sell a vehicle you can show what you have done. I used to write on stuff when I did it but it doesn’t keep a record.

Love that Nathan doesn't just do the obvious - i.e. what you can see, he double checks things like with the coolant container. Well done on finding a good, self reliant worker who makes sure the job is done properly. When he saw that the fluid had leaked from the buggy he went out and bought what was needed to clean it up, no excuses, no blaming just cleaned it up. He was embarrassed ?? that it had happened but also learnt and will make sure if he has to do it again that he will make sure he has a container to empty it into. Darryl senior would have just left the mess for you to clean and blamed everyone else. The change to Nathan is like a breathe of fresh air.

Hi Ryan I was a mold maker in my early years. We would use a blue ink on the steel and then when you scribe you’ll see the mark as your scraped off the ink. Anything you have in the shop like pvc glue should work for you. Returning a TIP for you as you’re always sharing great tips for everyone.

Ryan , when you was talking about renting a winter shop back in Oct. I couldn't help but ask my self why ??. You have got a LOT done on your trucks & equipment over winter break . I know people talk about all the money you spend .. They have no clue the money you have saved doing most the work your self . I worked in a shop for 12 years all I done was welding & fab work on trucks like what you been doing . That was 10 years ago & back then it was 110$ hour so I'm sure it's 150$ hour or close by now .. I have a Daytona jack from Harbor Freight. Had it for 2 years, its a great jack. The Icon tools from there are good as well. My son turns wrenches for a living and loves his Icon tools. Nate is a good kid, great work ethic. Love your videos. Eric is a great kid also.
