I worked in the medical field and i am almost 72 years old .. my husband did the truck concrete driving and i wondered about his job all them years and watching this i see what he did and his uncles an friends all do the concrete work and sometimes he would help them .. when what they called had a big pour .. thank you for showing me what my husband did for years ..

I love seeing how when the workers are late for work they have no excuses, no remorse, no apologies. It’s unbelievable how forgiving Ryan is. Then to be such a charitable person and pay people that really don’t contribute to the work day. I really don’t think they know how good they have it. Ryan is an awesome boss and treats his employees way better then any other owner I know in this industry. I’m sorry but maybe the guys will read this post and straighten out. At this point I think Ryan keeps some of them around for content purposes, much like the equipment failures on the gold shows on Discovery Channel. No drama = no views. Ryan is absolutely one of the business owners/boss I’ve seen. So as a worker I’d would think some of the employees wouldn’t take advantage of him like they do. Like you said it’s not the corporate world but it’s Ryan’s business and livelihood. Ryan has a wonderful family and needs to continue to provide for them as he always has.

Schmitz runs a LOT of concrete for Stark, who mostly pours roads and industrial pours. Maybe that load with large aggregate was stone leftover from one of those pours that they were trying to run through.

But he doesn't pull his weight like Francisco or marcel(minus the not showing up for work). Your work and the amount you contribute to the team is worth more then gold in this type of crews. I don't like that they keep putting Darryl down all the time, nobody like s getting beat down every day. Just don't show that part of the video, keep it between them

@@WillE454 Absolutely no idea but anyone who points out that he sleeps a lot and stands around, not even in a demeaning way, as nice as possible, people will always comment that he has a disability. I saw a very well written comment against that, respectful and all, saying something of the effect, "Jr knows what needs to be done and he's great when he helps. He just needs direction and Ryan gives him that. He could even make it on his own, but needs to stop being babied." Oh well.

His weight is a huge factor. Idk if it’s a thyroid issue…but he also has a speech issue like he’s he’s on the spectrum or something…idk….but it’s a waste of money bringing him on the job to sit around all day….
