Victron and Renogy 500a Shunt Installed in Austrack Tanami Van

G’day thanks for the video I have been wondering about the possibility of adding a Victron to my Renogy for historical data which you have done ! I have a question, Have you just run cable across to the Victron from the Renogy so it’s in parallel ? it was hard to see from the video Cheers...... Steve

Sorry for the terribly late response, for some reason KZbin didnt show us this comment until just today. For those interested, it was actually wired in Series, not parallel. The theory being that if they are in parallel then we would need to add both shunt readings together to get an actual reading. Auto electrician advised that the losses by wiring them this way would be marginal, not worth factoring into our readings. Has been working well with this setup. All the best.
