I have both the jacket and the pants.Very satisfied with the functionality of both.I have field tested them in several different extreme conditions already and the products are very comfortable and durable.

Nice addition to the Vidda pro series,but I think that the jacket since it's firstly announced as a trekking jacket,I think that it should be incorporated with side ventilation zippers..I own many Fjallraven products especially g1000 original and without the ventilation addition someone can get very sweaty on the trail

Seems really similar to the Keb trousers. What sets each one apart from the other?

Hi, There are big differences on the Keb trousers and the Vidda Pro ventilated trousers. The Keb trousers has much more stretch panels and the two big front pockets. Also it has zipper along the calves (and on the sides) The Vidda Pro Ventilated has the has a crotch gusset in stretch and the rest of the trouser is G-1000. And ventilation zippers on the sides.

Simply the best outdoor clothing on the market. I don't own anything from the Vidda series - yet. I have Barents Pro and High Coast trousers and love them. I had both trousers hemmed to fit. How would this work with the Vidda trousers? They have the snaps around each pant leg.

You can get them in either a regular or long (+5cm) inseam. So to answer your question, no, these trousers can not be hemmed to fit. Hope that helps!

You can get them hemmed. I work at a Fjallraven store. We get technical hemming all the time.

Looks difficult to get them hemmed. But not impossible. Whole bit with hook and buttons must be removed. After cutting to right length, hook+ button part is sewn into place. Would be much more difficult if they had reinforcements (double layer fabric) in foot end (as many other brands have).

The Barents Pro trousers are the same as the Vidda Pro, except they don't have the snaps at the ankles, so you can hem them to length. It's the "raw length" version of the Vidda Pro.

Just wearing one today. Why are the trousers so long? I'm only 6 feet tall but not 6 foot 5.

They are about 2 inches too long. The main problem was that my cell phone banged against my knee, but I can put a tissue into the pocket probably to avoid that. I'm the only guy that is not trying to beat Andre the Giant these days.

The new vita pro ventilated trousers are nice for sure and they have a different purpose than the keb. I only see keb as snow and winter style trousers (probably because of the visible soft shell) but the new vita pro is close to all season trousers. The inner pockets are not soft shell like the keb, but there is no other area still needing improvement, except possibly colors. I'm always looking for camouflage colors. It is almost crazy not to do camo. It must have something to do with that kid running around instead of being in school.

Fjällräven thank you for everything, since one year now nothing elese then G-1000 hase touched my skin, love it. But one thing is a massive problem, it is a brutal dust Magnet. What can I do against that? Dont want to Wax.
