They do great collaborations.....the combination of technical & simple is awesome. Helps to bring clarity to the swing.

Love the tip on sliding your hands down your legs to get tilt without spinalcurve and hip push, both of which I’m guilty of. Excellent tutorial I’m hooked, just wish I could actually go out and practice. Everyone keep safe.

Love y'alls videos and have subscribed to both! I'm knew here and at 60 years old I'm finally striking the ball fairly well! Did y'all mention the how much to reach for the ball or where your arms should hang for ball position away from your body or did I miss it? Thank you for these channels! Already introduced my son and his friends to it!! PS I'm tired of my buddies whoopin me on the course and bout to do something about it :D

Thanks Derek. Generally arms should hang down from shoulders, maybe reach a bit more than that with the driver. Best, Adam

Great video..one thing guys what is better head of the driver angle up or flat at address..I see so many different set ups..the other I like to push my left hip out a little which cause the spine to move ..so it become automatically move..height is the one thing people hardly talk about for ball position for driver..please do more of that..thanks guys!

Your lessons are terrific. I think it would be helpful if you had a ball tracer on the "down the course" views of demonstration shots. It would be more inspirational if I saw the results of the tips and techniques.

Should the forward press with your hands with your irons at address be the same distance from your wedge to your 6 iron or is it more with wedges vs long irons. Great videos👍🏌🏼
@Scratchgolfacademy4 жыл бұрын
Thanks Dennis. It's really up to the player, forward press (address) or no forward press. But if you like a press then about the same for each iron is likely best. Thanks, Adam

@@Scratchgolfacademy when the driver is layed behind the ball it seems to have a tilt. I was curious if you tilt your body to match that angle. I'll film what I mean after my lesson and tweet it to you

The tilt and turn feels odd. Cuz as I turn my left shoulder needs to be lower correct ? So then obviously can’t tilt right to get left shoulder lower in turn, how and when do ya get the right tilt back?

It’s not as complicated as it might seem. I have several videos at this channel on the pivot, or shoulder turn. I hope you’ll find them helpful

How can I keep my trail hand from taking over in the downswing?
@Scratchgolfacademy4 жыл бұрын
Bradley, Hard to say without seeing you swing, but generally speaking strong body motion reduces hand action. Hope this helps. Best, Adam

One question: I have read many times that the average tour pro hits driver 1.5 degrees down, yet most teachers say to hit level or up a few degrees. Why the difference?
@Scratchgolfacademy4 жыл бұрын
Larry, About 1 degree down (basically level) is PGA Tour average. Tour players have plenty of speed as is, for some of them, trying to alter impact too much to get 2 or 3 up isn't worth the moderate distance gain. That said there is distance to be gained, and the longest hitters hit up on it. Hope this helps. Best, Adam
