Video captures strange lights moving across the sky in Salford
Video footage has captured strange lights moving across the sky in Salford. The unexplained lights were caught on camera at around 10.50pm on Sunday (April 17). Dr Aditya Unni was walking along Eccles Old Road when he spotted them above.
The video appears to show a cluster of three lights moving in a circular motion. The illuminations travelled towards Pendleton Way and remained in the sky for around 20 minutes.

I saw this in the sky last night. I initially thought it was spotlights or a torch being cast up into the sky but they moved slowly then sped up. The sky was pretty clear with a few large low clouds. I could see them fly through the cloud and leave a trail of whispy cloud in there wake but I couldn't see them after they left the cloud. There were 3 lights but the colours were green, blue and yellow. Lasted for about 20 mins and was both mesmerising and weird. I'm in Scotland, North Lanarkshire and yesterday was Saturday December 2022, event happened about half past 8 in the evening while I was saying goodbye to my friend at my door, he saw it too.

We saw it last night over Long Beach California. We watched it for about 30 minutes and have some footage. We believe there were 4 but it was hard to determine due to cloud cover. Weirdly mesmerizing, sort of like bird murmuration

Just saw these right outside of my house. I thought they were drones until I saw how abruptly all three of them stopped together after speeding up. Then two of the lights blinked out in succession leaving one on and it just sat there.

This is so interesting. We saw the exact same thing in the South of Portugal, roughly a month ago (end of October/beginning of November maybe). We were so mesmerized by it that we didn't record it 😕. It was fascinating, in our case the lights (there must have been 3 or 4 lights, not more than that) were "dancing" and sometimes quickly moving back and forth behind the cloud and then some would stop for 2 seconds. The entire "light show" lasted approximately 10 to 15 minutes, then they instantly disappeared. At first, I too thought the lights were reflections in the sky from spotlights, like from a club or hotel but there was no light beam and everything is closed (off season) and we didn't hear any music or so, in fact it was dead silent outside. It must have been around midnight. There's another lady on YT, @LadyOrchid, she posted a short video of lights in the sky that resemble what we saw. She saw it on the 27th of May, I think she's in Lisbon. Very intriguing, to say the least.
