@@turdfurgeson517 a lot of people think the same as you did , it's not until you think of it as a chemical reaction you understand what is really happening . the reason why water works so well at putting out fires is because in reality water is the ash from burning hydrogen so it's already burnt (one of the funny things that came up in a chemistry class) .

That canister was not liquid oxygen. Oxygen, in any form, does not support combustion. It promotes the combustion of other materials. The canister seen flying from the truck had to contain a known combustible/ flammable material.

The explosive flares are LOX tanks exploding/imploding and feeding the existing fire…oxygen isn’t flammable but it facilitates combustion. The tank popping out and sending a jet of flame is likely a propane tank which the truck was said to be carrying.

Fun fact, if you shoot an oxygen tank with an incidiary round and it penetrates it, the Oxygen will cause the tank to burn, the fireball is the actual canister burning due to an oxygen rich environment

Usually with trucks it's either overheated brakes that catch the tires on fire, or a flat tire that catches fire (easy to not notice on the inside dual wheel). Once the tires are on fire, there's no hope for a truck loaded with gas cylinders.

@@arknark I moved to the Seattle area in 2002 and I loved it. I noticed around 2016 that traffic was getting worse and many people were flocking to the Puget Sound area. I started looking for a way out and planned to move to Spokane. In 2019 I finally made the move. I love it here despite the cold snowy winters and hot summers. People are much friendlier and traffic is much less. I miss Seattle for what it used to be and I hate it for what it's become.
