Was all over the place when watching this so can't keep score. But boy was it a good haul for the "cool new music that I haven't heard before" Getting The Moon from Ducktales: Remastered out of the way. It's a whiplash hearing that arrange not knowing about the existence of the remake. But it's not exactly my first outing with the original The Moon from the first Ducktales so I'll dub this one "cool official arrange that I haven't heard before" instead Up next is the entire castle connection set from round 2. Suzaku and Lorule castle is the one that perked my ears. Not saying Guardia castle is nothingburger but knowing it's from Chrono Trigger, I trust that it's a good piece. It just doesn't jig me as much as Suzaku and Lorule. I love the feel of a grand arrangement accompanied with a last-stand-melancholic-all-or-nothing-type-melody Honorable mention to Boss Fight 1 from Kid Icarus Uprising (a bit surprised with the track name being so literal). It has that same melody type I gravitate to from the castle connection. This one also caught me because I did a little arrange remix of Dark Pit's theme a year back and I feel like this and Dark Pit's are both calling me to look into Kid Icarus stuff as they might be a sleeper banger And the winner is... Coo the Owl! (Winner as in if I had to pick one out of these 6.) More than the arrangement style from before, I love folksy acoustic arrangement playing sad melodies. This one fits a good chunk of my taste to the T. Additionally, flute is pretty much my spirit instrument and this one abused the heck out of it and it's awesome

There have been some Koshiro Yuzo tracks in past trivias; Streets of Rage and Actraiser, but I highly recommend checking out the Etrian Odyssey series if you enjoy Sega Genesis-style soundchips. My brain made the connection to Golden Wind when you played Coo the Owl. I have a hard time believing Josh tried to tie the remixed Donkey Kong rap to Smash 64 when 64 can't do the song's detailed instrumentation.

The Kingdom Hearts quote is from Re:coded. Specifically the cutscene movie movie that was put into KH2.5. Which is why I didn't know it despite being a big KH fan, cause Re:coded's only value is in gameplay. You need more JRPG enthusiasts though. Did not buzz in immediately, but after Tarvould said it was a new game, I would've went for the buzzer and said that Guessed Sonic X Shadow Generations. That Live and Learn motif gave it away! Guessed Harvest Moon: Friends of Mineral Town. I was thinking of a few different games, but I was leaning on that one the most. Thanks, childhood! Guessed Super Mario Party Jamboree. I waited to buzz in, which definitely would've gotten me the point because the Nintendo Sports games were the only other guess I had and Josh would have confirmed to me it wasn't those. Will be updating my score here and then: Round 1 - 8 points Knew Kirby 64, Pilotwings 64, the Biolizard theme from Shadows Generations, title theme from M&L Brothership, and I recognized the Vampire Killer leitmotif for Castlevania, but I guessed MK8Deluxe wrongly for Mario Party Jamboree (I knew I heard that melody recently but couldn't remember!) Round 2 - 15 points Knew Street Fighter II because of Smash, Lorule Castle from ALBW, KH1, knew Banjo music but guessed the first game. Anyways here's context for the Kingdom Hearts one you didn't ask for: that's a quote from a DS game called Kingdom Hearts: ReCoded. And the story is basically Mickey puts Jiminy's diary in a machine to try and decipher a quote someone left in the diary. And this machine creates a virtual recreation of Kingdom Hearts 1 basically where a virtual recreation of Sora called Data Sora explores Disney worlds from KH1 clearing out "bugs" in the virtual world, which are represented by a bunch of red blocks. Eventually he meets Data Riki, a virtual recreation of his best friend, but because he is machine, the dynamic evil duo of Maleficent and Pete (yes, this is true) kidnap Data Riku and make him evil by "putting bugs in him" to which Mickey responds "What?". This might be the liveliest group of contestants you’ve had so far! 36:57 that was very generous of Josh but I would have let them both have the points 40:09 I thought that was from Air Ride, dang I tore up this bonus round more than I usually do. 54:32 okay, I will say that out of Dual Destinies OST, Blackquill’s theme is WAY better for the theme of birds. 1:04:33 I got full credit on this one, just because I recognized the series, realized it wasn’t the original soundfont, and knew it wasn’t in Ultimate but sounded like Brawl or later. 1:05:18 that would have been DEVIOUS if you left off the bit at the end, since I was able to verify it was the Smash medley vs. just a remix of the one theme by that. 1:14:36 I recognized the song, and I knew if it was Pass it was HGH, but I couldn’t be sure it wasn’t Smash. 1:21:09 HOW COULD JOSH AND JYGGY NOT GET THIS?
