So fun fact about Smash Megalovania; yes, it's a combination of all of the motifs at the end because it's the only Undertale track we get, but it's also a genuine evolution of the track that we've seen before. The Smash version of MEGALOVANIA is to Undertale's MEGALOVANIA as Homestuck's version, MeGaLoVania, is to the Halloween Hack's Megalovania. Homestuck takes the HH version and expands upon it, adding real instruments (Tensei's electric guitars in this instance) and more motifs at the end - Spider's Claw, Sunslammer and The La2t Frontiier. Smash's version does the same with Asgore/Heartache and Bonetrousle, as well as throwing in a few other themes throughout.

Favorite new track that I learned of from this: the Unicorn Overlord track! Was gorgeous. I'll have to give that whole soundtrack a listen. Really, the entire first round was full of great music. And yes, Kirby and the Rainbow Curse has a fantastic, underrated soundtrack! As far as I know, the majority of it is by Shogo Sakai, who you might also know for the entire Kirby Mass Attack soundtrack, a few from Kirby Air Ride and Smash Melee... and the entire soundtrack for a little game called Mother 3. He's pretty good.
