Great Rewiew, i like your chanel. There are so many decent license games from the past that are totally forgotten these days. Playing a video games with charters you have a relationship with, always give some kind of extra dimension to the joy of playing them.

Thanks @tryffel8 for the comment! You couldn't have said it better. I enjoy these kind of games even when they're terrible 😜

Love the review; I have been introducing my nephew to old consoles like Game Gear and Turbo Express. This is one of the games we have been playing. Just a heads up its seven continues instead of nine. I don't know if you played hard mode but if you do you will take way more damage.

Thanks for catching this! I went back to see what I did. I had looked at the timer and when I pressed start it went to eight. I assumed that was the amount of continues! I had beat the game on normal and only played hard mode for two stages. I didn't notice the damage difference because I was avoiding everything, haha. So all can know what Jamie is referring to is 00:35 - 00:39. Should have said that there were 7 continues not 9! That the difference is damage not amount of continues!

About 1 month ago i completed the Game Gear Version of this game in 18 minutes and the Master System Version in 11 minutes, i gotta say the game is pretty fun and enjoyable but the Master System Version of the game requires skills because there are some tricky stages, anyways the review was amazing, i've waited for one of these for a long time and i am so proud it finally happened, also i like the same how SEGA put Sonic Posters in Stage 3 (Master System) and Stage 2 (Game Gear)

Thanks for the kind words! I'm glad you enjoyed my review and I am so excited that you've experienced both versions. It's something I haven't experienced often.

Another great review Mason :) I had actually just checked your page early today to see if I had missed anything because I follow a lot of channels and sometimes I miss videos I would otherwise watch. But I’m really impressed that you can do a review under 3 minutes long and still hit all the beats needed. It shows that you respect your viewers investment time. I’m in a constant battle to edit the redundancies and distractions of my long winded style. Originally my battletoads script was near 5 pages long but I trimmed 3 of those out... I do think less is more, I just struggle with it. Also, I liked how you presented factoids in the unused corner of the screen. Very cool.

I can’t believe that you trimmed your review for battletoads! I had genuinely laughed out loud over your puns and jokes. I understand the desire to create something exceptional. It’s definitely a big task to undertake. If you need help or get stuck feel free to contact me through email it’s in my About page.

@@MVPGame Thank you very much. I really appreciate it. It makes me feel good to know I made you laugh. I think it's harder to be funny when you are trying to write something and I think my jokes are pretty dumb. I had a complete writer's block on Splatterhouse 2 but I knew I had to get it out anyway. After all that I still couldn't post it before Halloween came and went. Ah well, the same goes for you though, if you ever need anything I would be more than glad to help.
