The sword being upside down on the left hip is actually the 'proper' way that a samurai would sheath or draw it. That way it can be drawn fluidly and efficiently into a ready stance.

It depends. It's worn edge-up in everyday clothing, but edge-down when wearing full Yoroi.

I was thinking about this guy a lot too. I love the design, it's like what Lio Convoy always needed. If Iron Factory every moved on to Generations scale I would demand a revisit on this.

I dig the design of this fig, and I actually like small toys, so I'd totally pick one of these up if I had the indulgence money. Also, I donno if I'd call the physicality of this guy "skeletal" so much as...Not bulky? At lest in contrast the other, more G1, Iron Factory figures.

I'm glad this guy turned out so well. I've never bought any of Iron Factory's stuff, but I find them fascinating. I can't afford Perfect Effect Leonidas or the Masterpiece, so I think this will be the Lio Convoy for me!

I’m still not sure if I’m gunna get Bludgeon, but I’ll definitely get Lio Convoy. Also, an IDW Cyclonus and Star Saber would make sense to continue the Iron Samurai series, though I’d want Deathsaurus most of all. 🐲
