Use those blades as focusing rails for that hand-cannon. Like when you have orbital rail guns magnetically launching asteroids. I'm honestly liking how these Siege figures look, minus the pre-painted battle damage. They're solid, no-nonsense figures thanks to shunting the gimmicks off to the tinier figures.

A bit of isopropyl alcohol should remove that Drybrushing paint without damaging the figure.

I really want to see this version of Megatron get reworked into an Armada Megatron. He's technically already an H-Tank, so all you would need is a new head and chest piece. Now, only if they stopped having Optimus as a flat nose truck, maybe we could get an Armada Optimus.

@@DCMarvel2009 Antlers are easy enough. I mean the tank mode has enough room for them. the treads on his shoulders aren't a deal breaker though because the last time they did an Armada Megatron they put those treads on his back like this as well.

He has a cannon (not HIS cannon) on his back. Considering CW megatron was just a repaint to the original mode, I don't think an Armada Megatron will be possible, for now.

If there is a slot on the right side, you can use his gun barrel as his gun like on g1 where it sticks up on the right side.

The front part of the tank, which contains the arms and front tank panel, can collapse and close the undercarriage gap where Megatron's face plate is peeking. Unfortunately, it does not collapse all the way.

Hey Peaugh, I think you should be able to slide the front treads section into his body a lil more bringing that panel that folds down, and tabs between the treads, a bit closer to the head. It still doesn't completely hide his robot head, but it does also mean his head slides a lil more into his chest in vehicle mode, doing a slightly better job of hiding it. I love this Megatron though, and is the first one I've bought from any of the recent lines. Kinda wish I put a preorder in for Optimus too but will try to pick him up when I can.

​@@peaugh No worries at all. I've also had a fiddle around at finding a place for the blade parts after removing them from the secondary gun after you mentioned it. They're not the most secure, and it doesn't take much for them to get knocked off, but they can be tabbed into the parts of the arm that fold behind the shoulder. I'll try to remember to take a photo and post it to Twitter.

I just got this and I've been taking the battle damage off. Looks great so far! I'll probably regret it when they release this figure without battle damage in like a year, lol.

Its a neat idea but they did go overboard in some cases. I think it'd have looked much better if it were light scratching/weathering on the edges where it'd make sense... What the hell has Sideswipe been up to for only his lower half to be scratched to hell? >_>... At least with Megs its consistent.

I think the Combiner Wars Megatron is still the best G1 tank Megatron out there just because of the paint alone. CW Megatron is covered in gorgeous silver paint, just as any true G1 Megatron toy should be. This one has almost no paint. Just has some poo splatters on him.

UltraPrimal I agree. I was surprised at how happy I was with him. That’s an under appreciated Megatron. It’s too bad there wasn’t a Leader class Optimus Prime to go with him.

It's gonna seem odd, with the 2 leaders of the Autobots & Decepticons being shorter (voyager class) than let's say Ultra Magnus (leader class). 🤔 Other than that, looks like a solid unit.
