This place is incredible. If you are an aviation fan, it is so amazing to see the real thing that you've read about and seen in pictures for all those years. One thing not mentioned here is the collection of scale models. There are thousands. I will bet that every single aircraft ever made is in their collection. Anything you can think of. NASA's experimental lifting body research vehicles? Not just one - all of them. ... and another thing not mentioned here... the Planes of Fame, which is a full day experience... is only blocks away from another air museum that is not as large, but also has a lot of great, real aircraft on display. If you like planes, you will be spellbound in Chino!

I like the airplanes, its very appreciated how they maintain the museum for.the public. If you are nearby . I recommend that you stop by. We came from vegas

I paid a visit in July 2013.....took me 3 hours and I still haven't seen enough.

Recently visited the museum very good experience surprised to see some rare aircraft got a t-shirt and key chain I want to go inside that b-17 i wasn't able to but saw the outside Its on my top 40 favorite places i have ever been to

Pretty good intro to the museum. Only a short drive from LA, Orange and Riverside counties. Well worth the trip. Must See: The air shows. On some, you can pay to be a passenger on the flights around the area. Linking to the website is a handy reminder of what is going on month-by-month.

Agreed. Smithsonian is number one , uk air force number two. Us air force three, France has like four hundred planes but few are exhibited..or they would be second.
