The Maxwell house commercial reminds me of percolated coffee I was allowed to drink on Saturday mornings after I spent the night with my grandparents every Friday night....I remember being 3 or 4 and LOVING coffee with cream and sugar......still do today! Thanks Fred!❤❤❤

The EMPIRE interstitials were from its prime-time repeats on ABC in the 1963-64 season...when it first aired on NBC the previous year, the main sponsor was Chrysler (who paid producer Screen Gems/Columbia to film in color-'the first hour long show for which they did that)😊

Great stuff Fred!😀, Bewitched is one of my favorites, I watched it mostly in reruns in the 70's. It's amazing to me to think, that some of this stuff is still part of everyday. You can often find the tv on the classic shows channel, with The Twilight Zone and the Carol Burnett Show, and alot of the others in the line up. I usually have Quaker products in the cupboard, Cinnamon Life cereal in particular. If only one of those beautiful classic Chevrolets were in the driveway !😊

Yeah, but you'd probably worry about it being stolen, Tigre!

Gary Owens doing the voiceover for The Quaker Oats Company sponsorship on BEWITCHED later as the announcer on LAUGH -IN ( 1968-73) He would later be the continuity announcer for Antenna TV from 2011 until his death in 2015. Shadoe Stevens replaced him. William Conrad voiced " Quake" Daws Butler voiced "Quisp". Both worked for Jay Ward who co-created, and co-produced ROCKY & HIS FRIENDS / THE BULLWINKLE SHOW and created/ produced the Cap'n Crunch and the Quisp / Quake ad campaigns.

Here's an idea I know I would love to see, Fred, and I bet millions of others would, too: a presentation of nothing but stop motion figure and object animations. Here's Lucy bumper like you have, Brylcreem (done by my old mentor Liu Bunin), mrs Butterworth, Popinfresh, stop motion Beechnut gum animals, Harryhausen's Kenny Key, Myerberg's Jolly Green Giant, David Allen's King King VW commercial, California raisins, the sheep in the pillow or comforter commercials by Nick Park, lucky strike marching cigarettes... i'm sure there must be many more.
