The way Steve Sweeney's stupid vet joke just fizzles out into nothingness before coming close to reaching anything resembling a punchline is ironically funnier than anything he actually says.

PFG TV is like candy, but I always eat too much of it and get sick to my stomach. It's just so loaded with genuine failure that I feel like I'm a loser after about ten minutes. Scorch somehow breaks the wall between himself and me and contaminates my mind.

Are you still alive after watching Scorch’s PFG TV?
@markrobertson20523 жыл бұрын
It simultaneously bolsters my self esteem by his unwillingness to accept his own self hatred. What the world says about Scorch, to Scorch, is irrelevant. What Scorch thinks about Scorch is irrelevant. Scorch is a spirit to be contended with by no one. He cannot be held down by any force. Scorch is a force in and of himself. Scorch is an immovable object. He cannot be destroyed and that truly inspires me.

I would think it would make normal people feel better, but we all know that success is more about drive than intelligence, I know lots of dimwitted millionaires from doing house flipping and used car sales who are extremely driven like Scorch. I on the other hand, have very little drive, but a decent level of intelligence. It kills me to see dimwits get even Scorch levels of notoriety and money purely from being too unsmart (KZbin censors everything now) to know better. Smart people weigh out whether or not something is feasible and likely to succeed, but success truly does favor the bold, because luck rewards being at the right place at the right time and also repetitiveness. We should have college classes about Scorch.

It's amazing how Scorch always has guests for his show. He must be one hell of a salesman.
@dorpth7 жыл бұрын
Makes you wonder why he doesn't just become a full time salesman. He sounds EXACTLY like a talent agent trying to convince clients that something big always around the corner. So why does he keep insisting on starting creative showbiz stuff. He doesn't have an OUNCE of creativity, humor, or showmanship in his body. His shows only exist as a platform to sell ads on, and to hype itself as a platform to sell ads on. Why not just trim the fat and make the selling part your career?
@misterguy23297 жыл бұрын
Fucking solid point. He's apparently good at lying and getting people to agree to things they shouldn't. He's proven to have no ability to make a show. Yeah, he should find a way to sell for a living, just not by selling a product that has absolutely no appeal.

@A-small-amount-of-peas8 жыл бұрын
***** you have got to be kidding right? The Jimmy/Anthony dynamic was the show. I agree that Anthony's show is bad but believe it or not I liked the dynamic when it was all 3 of them, sure occasionally Opie would stomp on a bit to say something not funny and irrelevant but you kind of needed him
@E101ification8 жыл бұрын
+Jeff M Lol, no, _you're_ an idiot; obviously the reason people listen is because they love Ant and Jimmy. I mean, seriously, you needed someone to explain that to you - you must be remarkably unintelligent. As for the 'Opie hate being tired' - I used to think all the 'Opie hate' was just bandwagon-jumping, but the more I listen the more I see what a black hole of humour he can be. It's segments like the Scorch segments that make it obvious for me - Ant and Jimmy and EVERYONE listening are having a blast, enjoying the shit out of it, and then Opie pipes up "Ok, that's enough of that, time to move on" - THIS is why Opie fucking annoys me. I don't 'hate' him, he can be funny at times too, but fuck me, he has NO concept of what people want to listen to or what they find humorous. So stop being a 'black sheep' flattering yourself that you're different from all the other 'sheep' - doing the opposite of everyone else just for the sake of being 'different' is just as pathetic as going along with the crowd.

I like how they totally failed to comprehend that the "prize" for the statue thing was a lawsuit. Between that and not knowing about chicken alfredo, these guys are pretty dim sometimes lol

Yeah, but c’mon. It’s not worth the calories to even try to “comprehend” the inane “jokes” from someone like Scorch.

I agree though. Especially Ant, he’s emotionally stunted and whiny oftentimes.

Biggest question for me is, what happened to the previous sidekick Scorch had, Nick Carpinelli? Did he fire him or something?
