I am curious how something like a walking animation works in 2D, i.e. how you tell it to go to the next frames when walking. There is a bit of "walking" like that seen in the fighting game. Guess we'll have to wait and see

I'm pretty sure the "eye dropper" is a color picker tool. As in if you use a specific color shade that you want perfectly duplicated, it will pull that exact color. It's the same icon in most graphical editing programs.

By the way, you don't need your switch to be docked to use a mouse. You can put an USB C to USB A adapter into the USB C port and you can use a mouse in tabletop. This kind of adapter is really cheap and might be useful for switch lite owners 😉

@@VideoDojoPro I used this method to use a mouse in Smile Basic 4 (on regular switch) . It worked. I don't see any reason why it wouldn't work with switch lite and GBG. But again the adapter is really cheap so it worth to try.

I bought this today as I love the idea of creating my own simple games and it was fun going through the tutorials but I came to realise the 2d sprites or textures as they are called here are limited to a single frame. I've gone through all the help and the built-in documentation and there is no way of adding frames to a texture in the image editor. This alone kills GBG stone dead for me. I'm mind blown that Nintendo can add an image editor but limit you to 1 frame. The mind truly boggles and I'm both pissed off at wasting £30 and disappointed when it looked really fun. Utterly shocking oversight
