Aw man. I feel bad for Prometheus Guy defied the other Olympians to give fire to humanity, only for Zeus to have his liver ripped out of him and eaten by an eagle. Then regrow that liver and experience that agony all over again. Now in this story we see him bitter from the torment he's suffered. He was literally doing the right thing and still gets the short end of the stick, even as a lacky to Chronos

I kind of hate Dionysus's new design. It feels so bland?

I think it’s very intentional in how plain it is. Dionysus doesn’t know what to do so he compensates by being 10x the Dionysus. He wears the most comfortable outfit imaginable being his birthday suit, he is drunk out of his mind and probably a bit high too. This might be a time where revelry, but not a time where it shines. I also think they lay him bare like this to show a sense of vulnerability. He is to inebriated to properly function, he is unable to fight in the war and his sense of purpose is a bit lost. I do agree that a bit more detail on the portrait would be better because right now it’s pretty one tone with minimal interesting nick-nacks, clothing and his pose isn’t even that interesting. I do like the detail of the two cups doubling the amounts of cups from the first game and thusly drinking double the alcohol leaning into my theory that he is really just drinking through all the hardship

Same. The direction they took with him is not likeable? They took the easy route by just making him hide in the mountain which to be fair makes sense? In times of war people aren't going to think much less pray and make offerings to the God of Revelry. So of course he has to be shown in a weak state but once again not likeable. Hopefully he gets a proper development but im not having high hopes since this project has become so big that I feel some characters like Dionysus might be left as it is

What would have been cool if they leaned into Dionysus cult related aspect of himself. He's also the God of religious passion and madness, he could have been more active by having a cult to worship the Olympians to boost their power and give out boons that would power up any current abilities you have

Considering Dionysus' cthonic ties, I would have loved to see a version of him that leans more into the madness and frenzy aspect of his persona. We could have had a grizzled-and- unhinged-yet-handsome version for Dionysus and I am so sad we did not get it.
