TV programming can have DSV (Descriptive Video Service) that describes the image on the screen while it is happening. If a person make something complex out of something that is very simple, are you dumb? Are people naturally inherently smart in nature. KZbin comments have become ruined in recent years due to how hard it is to tell the difference from a real legit comment and a bot posting the same thing over and over. hopefully youtube can one day fix this, and hopefully users are smart enough to know when said comments section is intentionally filled with stuff to gaslight them, I believe the love of many is still strong, but being pushed back by a narrative that isn't actually real.

People look towards cults / religion when there's a major deficiency in their lives. Often it's a matter of seeking social acceptance in a community after experiencing rejection elsewhere, sometimes it's wanting to belong to a special "in" group because you want to feel like you're better than everyone else. I think those were two major aspects that united the Heavens Gate victims. The creepy mannerisms / body language they use in their goodbye videos always strikes me as dissociation.
