The shiny woman is probably an emulation related issue. (The characters talking in slow motion thing definitely is.) Curiously the golden statues in the room don't seem to have the shiny shader applied to them. xD Next time, if you don't want to tinker too much with emulation settings, just enable software emulation. You can't set custom resolutions but it'll look exactly like it does on the ps2 without any weird glitches. Also: Why did you have to bring up Sam & Max: Freelance Police? I'd just about forgotten about it.. Damn you hot science facts. :(

Eragon the book series is great! Sadly the movie butchered the story and then the game was half--hearted in the making. So it is a prime example of good to terrible through different mediums.
