Of the Worst Games Ever that I've watched on this channel so far, honestly this one doesn't seem all that bad. Probably one of the "best of the worst" but, from what I see, for the time it was released and the IP itself this isn't even a bad game. Also I'm not sure if you guys are actually... gamers... being funny talking about games, you guys definitely have a talent for that. And I genuinely love your content. But tbh, half the time I think you're just trolling or derping in these WGE videos. Either that or you guys don't really play video games much. Even if you don't know how to play, AND manage to miss all the hints on screen, most gamers just... try shit. Hit buttons, hold buttons, double tap buttons, just to see what happens. Then REMEMBER what happened so they're not shooting rockets and pissing oil (both things they've done before) in a parking garage, saying they don't know what to do. Who would have thought playing video games would actually take SOME level of attention to detail? Baffling, I know lol This is taking nothing away from your content, as I said I love watching these videos. Just something I've noticed. I'm not saying be a tryhard, but... put forth SOME real effort, and you might enjoy more than making fun of these properties. *shrugs*

I never played it back then, only discovered it a couple years ago, but the game is quite fun! As a small child, I had a ps2 demo-disc with a demo of this game and a few others on it, and I remember thinking it was so awesome. This was legitimately a solid reboot/sequel of a classic game. It's not particularly deep, though it has a simple, serviceable plot, fun gameplay, and challenging objectives. The cutscenes are short and sporadic, but interesting and well executed. This is one of the few games that is actually worth going back and trying to unlock everything. Nailing down the perfect runthrough on each level, pulling off some of the more challenging jumps/shots, and boosting across the finish line under the required time limit (having completed all the objectives) is very rewarding. Final note: You have to review the control scheme and sit through the mission introductions in order to internalize the objectives. You can't just ADHD through everything and then complain that you don't know what's going on.

Spy Hunter series are fantastic, enjoyable, and action packed games from NES to Nowhere to Run that has great characters, vehicle transformation and design, eady controls, descent plot centering around espionage and danger, and nice locations around the world. A truly epic series that sadly in 2021 has not aged well and graphics are not as good anymore but still charming, delightful, and had great memories playing these. The soundtrack is still epic and one of the best video game themes to date from P. Gunn despite this was from a tv series previous. Shame the movie wasn't made as they still need a trilogy of films for 2021 and VR game would be very enjoyable. Game still gets big 👍🏻from me.

Have you confused this with the third PS2 game, SpyHunter: Nowhere to Run? Feat. Dwayne. It was pretty bad, but this first game is fondly remembered and was well reviewed. Even the second game maybe? This first game has an 84 on Metacritic, while Nowhere to Run has a 51. Very confusing choice.

Actually, I greatly enjoyed playing this game as a kid and teenager. The physics and controls for the Interceptor felt nimble and very responsive. While the gameplay was very linear and short, it offered a nice sense of challenge and it encouraged players to get better navigating the course and clearing all of the objectives for each stage. And in terms of a completion standpoint it offers many incentives to do perfect and speed runs for each stage such as cheats, and even extra game modes and bonuses for truly 100% the game.

The music is just an updated version of the original arcade Spyhunter.

I loved this game when I was 12. In my defense, I was kicked in the head by a horse when I was 11.

Christ, I remember this game. Such a throwback. I remember when MI-High was on CBBC... It had the exact same soundtrack and always reminded me of this game... God, I'm old. 😂😂😂😂

This is definitely a product of the past but I still think the game is good fun. Sometimes I think if you hear a game is bad then you’ll automatically go into it with a skewed perception. Some of the most loved games of the 32 bit era for example could easily be demonstrated as a worst game ever if you weren’t familiar with their legacy and shared nostalgia for them.

I personally would've watched The Rock as Agent Joe 'Anna' Bumly in a movie.
