India is kicking butt in the chess world. It's looking like India might take over as the leading country in chess within ten years.

Remember the Ficher Interview, modern chess is mostly about memorizing your theory and preparation, not saying it’s good or bad but Fischer did had a point. No matter how crazy we call him even till the end he understood Chess better than many. Anyways, Kudos to Vidit and India, we shall get the World Cup this year 🤩 PS: This is the Interview I am talking about: kzbin.info/www/bejne/hmSXanWafbqrosU

yeah i wish sometimes opening theory was not a thing. Nowadays at top level memorization is the number one thing ahead of creativity and calculation.
@seemonjena659 Жыл бұрын
@@ashesds1 I agree with it. One of the chess players I can think of who still plays creatively is Danil Dubov.

Navigating through that insane mess of a position in so much pressure unscathed shows Vidit has risen to newer levels Kudos to Nepo for creating such a situation too in a must win game It was very exciting to watch

Nepo resilience is so impressive. He makes the games worth watching.

When knight forked the rooks.. it was better to take the one in the corner right.. thus forcing the oppoenet to recapture to the corner of the board
@musasiddiqui5629 Жыл бұрын
This was prep, so the highest level of computer suggested these moves, there is probably some deep meaning behind why taking the rook in the corner is better
