It's not a rod, it's a metal staff. The one which vidyut is using in the video is not very heavy. Anyways for a pro like vidyut, the weight of the staff doesn't really matter much.

Staff around head is not as hard as you think. For pros like Wayne/vidyut, it's easy. For beginners, obviously it's a little hard but can be mastered within a week

I had trained for Taekwondo and The Push ups he was doing was Probably Called "Dips" and that looks really hard but actually its not really hard( i found it easy tho ) , Also the Lizard crawl was referred as the " crocodile crawl " thats tough, we used to cover 80 - 90m Crawling... During the training " BTW i trained for 1 year " 15 years to 16 years )

He's a trained Kalari payattu professional. A traditional martial arts form from Kerala which eventually lead to the development of karate Kungfu and its other forms. In Kalari payattu a person has to undergo all these physical trainings for years before he is allowed to enter into the Kalari and that's were traditional weapons trainings begin.

If you get into calesthenics you'll eventually build the body control and strength necessary to do all of this (weights excluded). And then you transfer to ring training, and that's a WHOLE different level of difficulty.
