Indians calling their own "Dands" as Hindu push-up is a perfect colonised mindset. This dand is Rammurty Dand invented by Prof Rammurty Naidu (called Indian Hercules). It's an indian invention but Persians are taking credit for it. The word hindu gives us clarity that it originated in india.

Closed legs are not tougher and does not give more balance than legs apart. Think how do you stand in a resting position if you stand with closed legs and someone pushes you then you will fall but if your legs are apart than that will not happen...

Most of us don't notice that people doing it wrong way. You see they stretching their abdomen and lower back unknowingly? Hindu push-up is for training multi muscles ( chest, tricep, shoulder, back ). This is mixture of Pike pushup, diamond pushup and normal pushup. Do check doing diamond pushup and say did u stretched ur hip? No. So make sure your body is rigid (dand) while doing this exercise because we are working out our body doing this exercise and not to stretch. If you do like that shown in video then your middle body will increase in length. Thank you.

You are claiming that an advanced version of the Hindu Push-Up is the basic Hindu Push-Up. You should indicate that it is advanced. A beginner will struggle with that version of the Push-Up straight out the gate. It appears you are resting your pelvis on the floor at the peak of the push-up. I don't think that's correct.

Yes this one is advanced version(Rammuthi Dand). For beginners first do Hanuman push-ups(kzbin.info/www/bejne/i5TMq2OjYsZsrq8)), where you get support of your feet. After getting excel there go for normal Hindu push ups means Downward facing dog -> push down and then rise your head up but comeback to downward facing dog in a normal way(without going back to push-up position). And you don't touch your pelvis to the ground, tuck your toes in the ground to keep it up in normal and advanced version.

breakdown the pushup into two parts. this is an advanced form of push-up so you need to master regular push-ups and pike push-ups first. that's how i was able to combine the two movements and execute this push-up after a few weeks

The first guy was doing sadharan dand. Which is performed by pehelwans in Akhada. They do it that way so that they can do maximum reps. Don't teach us how to perform dand. Btw you were doing Ram Murti dand which is just one of a type of the 12 dands.
