Vienna Game Mieses Variation (3.g3): Ideas, Principles and Common Variations

The Vienna Game is an attacking opening. Playing g3 and going into the Mieses Variation is the positional way to play it. It avoids most of the early tactical complications and it's white's attempt to play for small positional imbalances.
